What People Say

In summary

Flatirons Golf Course is widely appreciated for its beautiful setting with stunning mountain views, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff. Many visitors praise the course for being both challenging and accessible, with a good balance of open and narrow fairways. However, some guests have noted issues with leaves making it difficult to find balls and occasional negative interactions with staff regarding pace of play.

Most beautiful course i've ever played. The views on the course are absolutely stunning. The leaves make it hard to find your ball sometimes, but thats expected this time of year. "forgiving" layout at most holes, but not too easy. Recommend 10/10, Greetings from the Netherlands

Good course! Worth the less than $50 weekend walking rate. Very tight, lots of trees. Very easy to walk. 5/10 landscaping though, tee boxes and fairways were a bit rough, lots of weeds and geese damage on fairways. New superintendent would do well!

A really nice, open course. It was very well maintained and the facilities really were top notch. As a visitor, we were really happy with the experience and quality of the course.

EVER since landing in Boulder with my 3-gen family for a reprieve from the Texas summertime heat & humidity, I have frequented the Flatirons GC for personal space, shortgame sharpening, and time helping my young granddaughter learn the game and work on fundamentals. My opinion is that FLATIRONS GC is a WELL-RUN, PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION. The staff are all welcoming and respectful, the superintendent and grounds-team keep the beautiful teeboxes, fairways, and greens in great shape. The system for making tee reservations by phone, online, or in person is reasonable and fair when it comes to a…

First visit - will not be last👍. Visiting boulder from NC and by chance noticed it was very close to our planned accommodations. Was able to schedule t-times through web/app - very easy. On arrival, was impressed with the beauty of the course/what a stunning mountain view backdrop. Upon entering the very nice (and well stocked) club house, my 26 year old son and I (60 yo) were warmly greeted. Staff super nice and helpful given our first visit. It didn’t stop there…restaurant/outside bar access staff create casual (but attentive) atmosphere….starter very kind and welcoming. And, the course was…

Great condition course for what seems really reasonable prices. Visiting Boulder for work so I had to rent clubs and wasn't disappointed by the premium option. Staff were friendly and also willing to give go that little extra to ensure I was all set. The course itself plays nicely, it's not the most varied course in terms of challenges but there's a nice mix thrown in and some well placed water

Nice municipal course in Boulder. Fairly easy. Straight, narrow fairways with trees. Great views of the Flatirons and front range mountains outside of Boulder.

Loved it today except for the fall leaves that made it hard to find my ball. But I’ll be back in summertime when there’s no leaves.

This place is one of my favorite courses in the area. It’s a nice course with plenty of challenge and variety, and it’s beautiful. The staff is very friendly too! My one major complaint is that there are many leaves and pieces of cotton on the course, which often make it difficult to find your ball, even when you hit a good shot. For example, last week I hit a shot into the middle of the fairway, but because of all the leaves and cotton around, I couldn't find the ball, and had to take a drop. I wish they would do something to solve this!

Our "Life's Little Getaway" place. New restaurant crushes on many levels. Obviously they have a chef who cares about great food and a staff that works for it! Terrific job every one.

Incredibly friendly staff, excellent course, beautiful views of the mountains. Very well kept, especially for wintertime. Definitely will be playing here again!

Nice muni near Boulder--flat, walkable course. Clubhouse is currently under renovation so don't plan on food or drink beyond sodas, iced tea or water at the small, but adequately-equipped pro shop. Porta-potties are "it" at the pro shop while renovations continue so don't miss the opportunity--on-course restrooms are unaffected. Staff were friendly and accommodating--a notable plus! Fairways and greens are in great shape, tee boxes better than many. Fairways are narrow and challenging, view of the mountains pleasant and relaxing. OBTW, it's not so much your game being "on!" as it is the altitu…
