Crab Meadow Golf Course

We have our outing there every year. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course is well maintained and there are some challenging holes. The view from some spots is beautiful!

The older lady at reception is really rude and doesn’t seem to want to help you. The course is nice but we got rushed by the 10th hole “cause people are waiting” but the gents ahead of us were the slow ones. All and all it’s a nice course.

This is a beautiful public course. The course itself is in excellent condition—well-maintained fairways, smooth greens, and beautiful landscaping throughout. Each hole offers a unique challenge, making it fun and engaging for both beginners and seasoned players. The layout is scenic with the water in the background. Every time I come here, the pace of play is perfect, and it’s clear the course is well-managed. If you’re looking for a great public course with beautiful views, a friendly atmosphere, and a fun challenge, Crab Meadow is the place to go.

Today played at Crab meadow golf course. It's beautiful course , and beautiful views of long island sound. Course is very well maintained. Fairways are wide and narrow, upside and down hill , very well designed. Greens are good and rolling, slightly small greens if you compare to other courses. But they are challenging and you will enjoy. Course has very well manicured with trees, shurbs and flowers.. carts are good and clean. Staff is very nice. Driving range is great with long island sound views . Practice putting green and chip are is good. Bar and restaurant is good too. Definitely recomme…

Very nice course with some water views. Fast greens and good conditions in the tee boxes and fairways. Bunkers are pretty good as well. Not the hardest course but it’s not boringly easy. Practice putting area is nice and fast and has multiple pin locations with a huge slope. It’s not allowed to chip on the putting green but no one really enforces it as long as you’re not thinning chips into the clubhouse. A little expensive but very nice and good conditions overall not bad value.

Beautiful public course, had a great time. Tee boxes, fairways and rough all in great condition. Greens and traps in good condition. Good pace, and just a really nice place to enjoy a round of 18. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff.

Crab Meadow is a gem! It has become one of my favorite courses on Long Island. It is one of few courses on LI that are kept in tip top shape all year round. It has many challenging holes and beautiful views of the North Shore and Long Island Sound. Very reasonably priced and the staff are always courteous.

First time playing Crab Meadow. I'm a single digit handicap and found this course to be somewhat challenging because most of the greens are tiny, postage stamp like. The course was is good condition and the views of the Long Island sound are unmatched. The course is not overly long but there are some difficult holes. That's the good, now for the not so good. The driving range is small, both in the amount of stalls (maybe 15??) and in distance to the end of the range guarded by a tree line. After hitting a couple of balls past the tree line, I retired my driver and didn't use it anymore. Even…

Nice course. Well kept and very friendly attentive staff. An excellent location for a charity or tournament. The banquet hall isn’t the biggest but it’s great for most normal sized functions.

Tough walk so be prepared. Range is about 230 max - Great course with scenic views if the Sound, tons of elevation changes, and small greens. Staff were very friendly. Larry the starter seems to be a legend. Pace of play was great and there are Rangers on course. They have water jugs every few holes which is a lifesaver.

Since Mike Gaffney & Steve Dietz have taken over operation of the course and The View restaurant, Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport is a great course to play and relax in the clubhouse afterward! The course is well maintained and has a beautiful scenic view overlooking Long Island Sound!
