Smithtown Landing Golf Club

Course is in terrible shape, especially around greens. No idea how this has 4.4 stars. This is a 3 star course at best. Greens have crab grass growing in them and there is zero fringe at all, just dirt and crab grass. Also cost $45 for 9 holes lol where is the money going exactly?

A good time was had by all. On the 16th some drunk guy stumbled onto our tee box and tossed us all beers, did a little salsa dance, played Piano Man on a harmonica and road off on a unicycle. Lunacy. Made our whole day.

Smithtown Landing Golf and Country Club is a truly pleasant public course. The grounds are maintained exceptionally well, and the course can be somewhat challenging. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They provide excellent pricing. I look forward to playing again.

My favorite place ever! My husband and I got married here in December and it was absolutely perfect. Planning the wedding was stress free from the day we decided to get married here. Everyone that worked with us was super accommodating and pleasant. The food was delicious during both cocktail hour and dinner. The waiters and bartenders were so friendly. There was not one negative thing we could say about Smithtown Landing!! Hi I played at Smithtown Landing on Thursday April 10 2025. The golf course is kept very Good, from the tea box to the fairway to the greens it's very nice. a very Nice place to play Golf, very friendly atmosphere nice View. If you get a chance to play go play at Smithtown Landing Golf Course highly recommend.

Have been playing there for years. Always in good shape. Would recommend for all levels.

Horribly managed golf course, tee times are stacked on top of each other. After almost 6 hours we couldn’t play the last hole because of sunset when our tee time was at 1:30. Waited on every single hole. Egregiously greedy and not the first time this happened. We thought the first time it was a one off experience, but they are scheduling tee times 8 minutes apart and starter is driving around the course apologizing to people. 1 star is generous, hands down worst golf experience I’ve had.

Had a 1:36 tee time. Didn’t tee off until 2:00 as they were running behind. Wasn’t able to finish before sunset as 16 holes took over 5 hours. Unbelievable greed from ownership to stack tee times only 8 minutes apart. Could never get into a rhythm because I was never able to hit once I got to my ball, I always had to wait. It’s a shame too because I enjoy the course itself and it has some fun holes but until ownership changes their ways I’ll never be back. Avoid this course.

I can not say enough positive things about this place! Our daughter got married here and the staff was absolutely amazing! Mandy was fabulous to work with. The maître d' Joe was amazing. Gina the bridal attendant was the real MVP! She took care of all the bride, the bridesmaids and myself. She gave extra care to one very pregnant bridesmaid. The food was great. The bartenders were great. The dj and the photographer were so on top of things! I'm beyond pleased because everything leading up to this day was chaotic since nobody lives local! I love the atmosphere for wedding or special event would highly recommend to newly engaged couples to set a dat here. Parking is great and close by. The place is well kept and organized.

I visited as a guest of an event. The space the event was held was beautiful, cleaned and updated. The service from the severs and the bartender was great. The passed appetizers were fun and flavorful. Areas of improvement, the main course came out and everyone at our table was served room temperature food. Unfortunately when your order consists of fish, this unfortunately makes the meal unappetizing. And the parking. The parking lot although large, is quite a distance from the rooms and up a hill.
