In summary

Cattails Golf Course in Southern Colorado is praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, scenic views, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The course offers a fun and engaging layout with tree-lined holes and water hazards, making it enjoyable for players of varying skill levels. While the restaurant receives high marks for its service and menu, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as dry spots and sand trap construction, and occasional disruptions from other players.

Course is in great shape. Fast greens tight fairways.

This is a gem of a golf course in Southern Colorado. This is a very fun course, though not very difficult does offer character. There is lots of tree lined holes that can really eat a bad slice. Lots of water hazards and swamps. The fairways and greens are very well tended too. The views in the woods and of the mountains are the real crowning jewels here. There is always a lot of wildlife to spot and enjoy. The staff is always on top of their game and make for a good time here!

a very pleasant place, a great welcome at the restaurant. I had a Taco salad, which was very good and hearty. The owner came to chat with us, very friendly.

We came here for dinner with 4 adults and 5 kids. The menu was great and had options that made everyone happy. Our server Mia was so kind and patient with our large group. We are from out of town and were tired after a long day at Great Sand Dunes NP. We just happened upon the golf course restaurant as an option and we are so glad we took a chance on it.

I recently visited the cattails golf course from out of town ,heard great reviews online. Meet up with a rough mower on the back 9 he gave me a lot of information on the course especially with the green speed and even made the tee makers wider ahead of me. I would recommend coming to this course and playing it very friendly turf maintenance..

Our first day there today and we had a Sunday brunch. Our server was exceptional. The menu was limited and had very small portions.. it is my recommendation not to go there with a hearty appetite but an appetite fit to play a fun game of golf. It was a pleasure to have a more quieter lunch in a more spacious area. Look forward to doing a lunch or dinner in the future.

Very nice course and well groomed fairways. Greens were very challenging like putting on a fast carpet which was nice, lots of doglegs. Golfers on the course were very fun and very friendly. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm definitely going back again.

The atmosphere is nice, the service was great but the food was mediocre in my opinion. I had the red chili slopper

Made a tee time on line today only to be told when I arrived that I couldn't play because the men's club had the whole course. The man behind the counter(surely not a pro)told me I should have known the men's club plays on Tuesdays.? Do yourself a favor and play a course designed by and ran by professionals, which is not how I would describe Cattails GC
