Very nice layout! The fairways are excellent, the greens were punched a week ago so they were still pretty bumpy. It payed quick, 3.5hrs for 18. It was a fun morning.

We drove 3 hours to play this course and didn’t regret it one bit, we had a great time. The grass is in surprisingly good shape for the time of year and the natural climate and there’s something unique about seeing fairways carved out of all the rabbitbrush, desert wildflowers throughout. This course does offer quality rentals as well, if you need them. I don’t remember the exact cost per round but I believe we spent about $100 per person for 18 and a cart.

Really enjoyed this course! Friendly staff and excellent location. Clubhouse was welcoming and in great condition with awesome views. The course conditions were very good. Fairways well cared for and greens fast. Great experience.

Great course! I'm from out of town and heard good things about the course and I enjoyed it! I didn't much care for the dated motored golf carts, and it surprised me that the golf paths are gravel and dirt. Because they watered to keep the course looking great, the paths were muddy in places and when they weren't muddy they were throwing up dirt all over. I was paired with a member Greg, who was a great guide! His wife Diana walked along with us. Really nice people and I really enjoyed my time!

A refreshing change of scenery from golf in DFW. What I really enjoy about Taos compared to Angel Fire is the wide-open views and the minimal number of houses around the course—it feels much more secluded and peaceful. The greens and back tees could use a bit of TLC, but overall, it's a great experience!

What an outstanding and beautiful golf course. When viewing it on line and mapping the directions to the course, I was not that excited but we were visiting Taos for the day and wanted to play some golf. On-line it looks like a flat course in the middle of the valley near Taos. I was so wrong!!! Driving in it began to show its uniqueness and beauty. By the time I pulled into the the parking lot I was very excited to play the course. I should note, the weather was perfect being sunny, 55 degrees, and zero wind in early November. The fairways are of standard width, with undulations along the way…

This is a great golf course: fun, fair, challenging. Given the location, the price is reasonable and thank goodness it’s not private or else there’d be no accessible golf in Taos. I play here every year during a summer trip that includes all the good courses between ABQ and Taos. The conditions are pristine, in fact the tee boxes are better than any other course around. The driving range has to be one of the most picturesque in the world. The sage that frames the fairways is gorgeous…and penal. But the fairways are very wide. I try to get the first tee time and finish in 2.5 to 3 hours.

First time playing the course after coming to Taos for several years. Not sure why I waited so long. On a holiday weekend it wasn’t crowded. The pro shop was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had great food. The course was in great condition. Challenging but fun. I will definitely be back!

Great high altitude golf. Taos CC is well maintained with very nice fairways and greens. The bunkers tend to be hard packed sand and could use some TLC. Very friendly staff, delicious food in the restaurant, good beverage staff.

Course was in excellent shape! Greens are pure, roll smooth, and the fairways were plush. Only got to play the front nine but will definitely be back. Visiting from Texas, glad we tried it! Friendly staff too especially Terry in the pro shop.

Fantastic conditions, greens are top notch. Kudos to the crew! Restaurant had some of the best food we had in Taos during our short stay. The guys in the Pro Shop were great - friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about our experience at the course. Would absolutely recommend and I'm hoping to get back there again soon!

Beautiful course, staff is super friendly. If you can’t hit it straight, bring a couple of extra balls. My wife and I had a great time.
