In summary

Casperkill Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging Robert Trent Jones layout, and excellent practice facilities, offering good value for the price. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the course's historical significance adds to its charm. However, some visitors have experienced issues with pace of play and interactions with staff, which have detracted from their overall experience.

Pleasantly surprised by the layout and quality of this course. Although some of the tee boxes can make the course feel tight, there is always a bail out option and the landing zones are bigger than they appear from the tee. Some say the greens are slow but they weren’t too shaggy when I played. Also, it’s cool to think about the history of this course and all the IBM employees rocking their 70’s and 80’s golf attire during the course’s heyday.

Great times had by many. Went on an open mic night. Pretty decent local talent showed up. I didn't play the course this time, but I have played it before and enjoyed it. Thought it was a decent challenge.

Casperkill is a well-maintained course with an excellent Robert Trent Jones layout. I always liken the course a bit to a Bethpage-style design (particularly BP Green), with its numerous elevated tees and greens. You will face plenty of shots that test your ability as a golfer, and although I wouldn't call it a difficult course, I would not recommend it for beginners either. Most holes offer a bailout option on tee shots or approaches, but a few, such as the uphill par 4 #9, demand specific shot shapes. My three favorite aspects of Casperkill are the greens, the tees, and the price. The greens…

I was here for a gathering at the clubhouse Lovely place for a party. We had a beautiful day so the party was on the deck, which was covered by a tent. Space for about 60 people, dance floor and DJ. Also inside area. The only thing I didn't care for was that inside at the bar were the golfers drinking. So expect the club members to be "at your party". Some of our party decor is posted.

$45 to walk, $65 to ride and worth every penny! This is the old IBM course and it’s beautifully maintained! Highly recommend, great staff that’s friendly and helpful.

Great place to practice on range/green/chipping green. The course is also nice and almost never stuck behind slow groups.

This was the worse experience I ever had there. I had a 8:50 tee time and by the 7th hole the starter rolls up to my group and tells us that we are holding up members and we are not that slow but can you pick up the speed. I spent 90 dollars to play there and to enjoy my day not to be rushed because members want to play faster. This isn’t the first time I have experienced this at Casperkill Country Club, I have played there six times and if you’re not a member there they push you or put the slow play on your group. I have never had a started ever do that at a public course or private course, i…

On Wednesday October 12th,2022 I played an 18 hole round of golf with my friend at Casperkill Golf Club and the course was absolutely beautiful and in top shape. The greens were perfect and some of the best I have ever played on. The fairways were trimmed and in flawless shape. The guy at the front desk was extremely professional and the starter was extremely nice and very personable. I enjoyed having the GPS distance trackers in the carts which made club selections far easier. The cost for the round was $55.00 which included a cart. It was a very enjoyable day and one spent on an absolutely b…

I was at a bridal shower in a lovely building set a distance from the main entrance. The windows had lovely tree surroundings. They're was smoke space for about 30 people. The staff was very friendly and responsive to any requests.

I was pleasantly surprised by Casperkill. I’m new to the area and excited to try some new courses and gave Casperkill a shot. I paid $15 to walk at 3 pm and it was possibly the best value course I’ve ever played. There is a sizable putting green, proper chipping area, and full-size range so you can plan to warm up before your round. The biggest surprise was the elevation change from tee to green. The first hole has to play down over a hundred feet! There are a dozen holes with significant slopes off the tee or leading up to the green. Walking is not for the faint of heart (although strongly re…
