The Links at Union Vale

As a Hudson Valley wedding photographer, it's always a treat when I get to visit a venue that I haven't been to for a few years. I visited the Links at Union Vale several years ago, and was so happy to be back to photograph a wedding there this past October. The ballroom is intimate but well-maintained, and photographs beautifully - but the real star at the Links is the scenery. The sun sets directly behind the clubhouse, and the golf course provides a gorgeous backdrop for portraits. The guests are friendly, and the staff is wonderful. Working there was a great experience!

Pristine golf course. Impeccably maintained, a true gem in the mid Hudson Valley. Thick roughs, lightning fast greens, The Links will challenge even the best golfer.

Our wedding at the Links at Union Vale on June 14th was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The views of the course are stunning and the space is beautiful. It was the perfect place for getting ready on site, the ceremony and reception. Spectacular course. Afternoon rate fair. Very walkable track. Putt well and go low. Clubhouse fantastic. Food great. Staff even better. Thank you for feeding us at sunset even though you’d rather go home. So appreciated this!!

I got married here June 28, 2024 and it was the best day of my life! I’m SOOOO glad I chose the links. It was absolutely perfect!!! The venue and the entire setting is incredibly stunning!!! The food was great and the staff is exceptional!!!! From the bartenders all the way to Fran, the Maitre D’, everyone is so professional and thorough and will do everything in their power to make your day as great as possible! Fran is incredibly responsive and just so easy and great to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this venue!!

Our wedding at the Links at Union Vale was excellent. Our Maitre D was extremely helpful, patient, and flexible with us through the entire process. The location was beautiful with incredible views of the golf course, silos, and stunning sunset. The food was well liked amongst everyone, the staff was attentive and friendly, and it was an all around great experience. On the wedding day, everything was in order and went smoothly with no hiccups. Kudos to everyone involved at the Links at Unionvale for a very memorable wedding celebration. It was wonderful from beginning to end. The venue is absolutely beautiful with terrific views. Not to mention the weather, that was picture perfect for a September 20th wedding. The wait staff was very efficient. Led by the Maitre d' Fran Gilchrist who is perfect in her job in every way. The Links at Union Vale are exactly what you would expect. A challenging course with plenty of bunkers and rolling hills. If you don't hit the ball straight prepare to lose some balls in the high rough. Very nice clubhouse and locker room. We played late in the day, enjoying the beautiful sunset and surrounding scenery. Had a good time playing the course despite the sand traps trying to ruin my day (LOL). The course was in good shape overall, considering the dry weather we've been having (see photos) The only downside was the divots in the T boxes. Second time here and will definitely be back.

My Daughter & Son-in-law were married @ The Links this past weekend. From the initial tour of the facility, we knew this was the PLACE! Fran was The Woman! Calm, never bothered by our texts/calls asking more & more questions, knowledgable, down to earth! The Links itself was beautiful, clean, & just what we were looking for. Everything went so smooth, & all of the facility staff, from cleaning, setting up, serving, & breakdown, were super! We couldn’t be any happier with how the happy day went. One out of ten?? I’d give it a 15! Thanks to all @ The Links who made our day so wonderful!

Getting married at the Links this past weekend was everything we could ever dream of. Everyone, especially Fran, is so friendly, professional, and does a hell of a job setting up the reception and ceremony areas so we could enjoy our night. The grounds are gorgeous and the food delicious. Highly recommend holding any event at the Links!

Everything great! Just would have been nice to know the condition of the greens. Maybe I missed something when I booked.
