In summary

Boise Ranch Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, accommodating layout suitable for all skill levels, and a friendly clubhouse atmosphere with good food and drinks. However, some visitors express concerns about the slow pace of play, challenges in booking tee times, and occasional issues with course conditions and customer service. Pricing and the lack of online booking also receive mixed feedback.

Golf course is in excellent condition for the amount of play that it gets. It is an easy walk in the park. Lots of space around the clubhouse to enjoy lunch or cold drinks. Large deck to accommodate your group. Practice facility is very good, hit balls off natural grass, and putting green gives you a great feel for the course. Just a real fun golf course with tees for all skill and age groups.

As good courses around the valley goes, Boise Ranch is mid. OK course, nothing special. They offer no veteran’s rates. It’s a long drive for us to get out there and maybe a once/twice a season choice for us. Staff seemed pissy when asking about the Vet’s discount today. River Birch, Eagle Hills, Shadow Valley and many others offer a Vet discount and have a much nicer course.

Course was in great shape!! But it takes an average of 4.5 hours to play. Extremely slow. Restaurant should just close. No customer service. Matter of fact, no service at all. They will serve the regulars and everyone else is out of luck.

Basic design but they keep it in decent shape and are constantly improving. A good, laid back option for golf in the valley.

It’s a fun little course and good clubhouse environment, but there’s too many walkers and no Course Marshall to regulate pace of play. You’ll wait insane amounts of time between your shots and no one wants to let you play through because they’ve been waiting forever too.

Fun course but nearly impossible to get a tee time. No online booking but they don't answer the phone either. I purchased a punch pass with 10 rounds on it but I've only used it twice through 6 months despite playing weekly, and always trying to book a round at Boise Ranch before looking elsewhere. Aside from that, league night is constantly going on so chances are high that they won't have a time anyways. Feels like I've been scammed by pre-purchasing a punch card I can never use. Won't make that mistake again and you shouldn't either. Out of curiosity, I just went through my call history an…

Did not have fun on this course at all. Greens and fairways were in terrible shape, my score card had someone else’s scores on it but they tried to erase it to save money. The tee boxes weren’t level and all torn up. It’s an absolute dump. Spend money elsewhere.

I like this course a lot, and live 10 minutes from it. Some days it’ll take up to 5 calls before they answer and then another 5-10 minutes on hold just to be told they’re booked up. Because you can’t go online and see that for yourself. It’d save so much time and effort if they had online booking. Please for the love of god join us in the 21st century and embrace technology.

Brought our kids out to Boise Ranch for nine holes and left completely disappointed. We were told we had to pay for three golfers just to get two carts, even though only two of us actually golfed. They added another player to our group who was fantastic and helpful with our boys. Halfway through, an older staff member with a mustache drove up aggressively accusing us of breaking rules when we absolutely were not. He made our kids feel insecure and one didn’t even want to finish. When we returned the carts, he continued to argue instead of apologizing. Golf should encourage new players — espe…

The course is wide open... great for long hitters who are a bit wild. The restaurant was really good a few years ago... don't know about it now. Normal Greens fees are fair, but the twilight rate is way too high. Why bother. Range ball price is typical for the area. Too high IMHO. They do a fantastic job of making sure to sort out balls that are not practice, but a HORRIBLE job of sorting out damaged or ancient ball. About 10% of their balls have no dimples. So bald they look like ping pong. No excuse... they only cost about 20 cents each wholesale.

The course itself here is fine enough, great view from hole 17. Many of the holes run along roads or houses with little or no netting, this definitely needs to be improved. The clubhouse and restaurant have a pretty trashy crowd, so wouldn't recommend hanging out here. Lots of loud obnoxious people, catcalling, couples in arguments, etc; very much like a really divey bar. That being said, the course is not bad but there are plenty of other courses in the valley that are nicer to hang out at and offer a little safer play.

Always a good time. Great golf, great food and drink. And decent prices. Great for a public golf course ⛳
