In summary

Warm Springs Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, open fairways, and welcoming atmosphere, making it suitable for beginners and high-handicapped players. The recent clubhouse renovations, including a new restaurant and bar, have been well-received, and the staff is noted for their friendliness. However, some visitors mention a slow pace of play and occasional management issues, while others find the course layout somewhat repetitive and the practice facilities lacking.

Nicely updated! We went for breakfast. There was literally a couple or two there as well. But there were a lot of people on the golf course as there was a tournament going on. The food was pretty good, there were very limited options for breakfast. The appetizers or lunch options were not prepped yet and could not be offered. Hoping someday they'll get a nice coffee machine here to enjoy the mornings on the patio and watch the wildlife and golfers The staff for food was very minimal but they were very polite and nice. It looks like the bar is very well equipped and if you go after a certa…

Very good course. Plenty long yet short for seniors and Newbies. Greens are excellent for a muni. Wide fairways yet testy if you get to the edges where there are plenty of mature trees. Course plays right out front of you, no trick holes. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nice practice area for putting and chipping. Driving range is close to the clubhouse so you can get lunch and hit a bucket. The course is better than the cost to play. Looking great since the weather change.

Nice public course on the river. Pretty open fairways with lots of space, almost no elevation changes and only a few water hazards so technically it's an easier course. Gets pretty crowded as this is the closest course to the East End and pretty close to the upscale neighborhoods like Barber Valley, the Mesa and Riverbend.

This was the third course I visited during my recent trip to Boise Idaho. Warms Springs is a public, parkland style course that's a short drive from downtown Boise, that sits between the Boise River and the beautiful mountains of Idaho. It claims to be a championship style course. I would argue that it's not. This is a beginner to a high-handicapped player friendly public course. The course is generally long, flat and forgiving. It can get boring at times if you're a better than average golfer. The tee boxes are oddly spaced out, and show some wear. The bunkers are shallow with very hard san…

New clubhouse restaurant, bar and patio are awesome! Great for the community - everyone is welcome and the menu is big! A great view of the 18th green to watch groups come in!

Great course for the $31 green fee. The course is forgiving with little water hazards and quite a bit of open grass to find the balls that don't hit the fairway. There wasn't a beer/food cart driving around even though it was pretty busy. Not sure if that is typical. Overall, a nice course and a fun round.

Course is in great shape. May have to wait a bit as a single. Was worth it though. Clubhouse has good beer selection as well.

Very busy but well kept and nice environment. Didn't have the golf snooty vibe fun course.

This used to be my "home" course years ago and then I moved far away. Played here today for first time in 12 years. Pro shop is how I remember it with great, friendly staff. Course was in superb shape. Greens were a bit quick and ball didn't break as much as I thought it would. Geese were a bit of a nuisance on a few holes but overall not bad. Our group of 3 played 18 in about 3h45m. Definitely will play again, happy to know the course is doing so well.

Went in to the new building with my wife and daughters to order some hotdogs. The manager approached us and asked us if we wanted to buy some meat missiles, which immediately prompted snickering and laughing from another male manager behind him. Gross behavior.

New Warm Springs Golf Course Grill is excellent....great value, amazing food and service...PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING. I assume you know this, but the new Clubhouse needs some new bike racks - I'd suggest putting in some loop wave style racks similar to the ones by the public restrooms in Marianne Williams Park. The course/Grill should be a huge draw for people and families biking on the Greenbelt.
