Bethpage State Park Golf Course

Way too expensive in pro shop. 40$ for a cart so they can interrupt my golf game (reasonable fees) with advertising! And 9 holes, cost... 28$...??? Hmmmm.... They know that these hills are killers, and of course if I can be a captive audiences, a PAYING CAPTIVE AUDIENCE and overcharged in the process, WHY NOT?? and maybe pull carts updated since the inception of park in 1934,would be nice. Very nice place got invited for a Christmas lncheon the food was good the dessert were delicious the rooms were very nicely decorated plenty of parking hrrat for any size event

Living right next to Bethpage State Park is truly a blessing. This park is absolutely beautiful, and it’s become part of our daily life — we take our dog Piper here almost every day for walks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bethpage was incredible for the Ryder Cup. The course was immaculate, the atmosphere electric, and it truly showcased why Bethpage is world-class. The logistics were rough—our charter bus couldn’t drop off near the course and there was little direction for those trying to walk. Long Island just isn’t built for events this size. But once inside, the frustration disappeared. The grounds were perfect, the staff did an amazing job, and the Ryder Cup at Bethpage was an experience I’ll never forget.

Park is so relaxing breathtaking views and just calmness. Good place to go and meditate do some yoga and just unwind. Huge park too.

We had the best time at Bethpage! My boyfriend played the Black Course and I walked with him, it was intense, beautiful, and so well designed Watching him take on that challenge was unforgettable I played the Red Course myself and had so much fun It was still challenging but really enjoyable and well laid out The whole experience, from the staff to the scenery was amazing Can’t wait to come back!

Home of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, this State Park boasts some of the most reasonable golf on Long Island. In order of difficulty Blue, Yellow, Green, Red and Black each track offers enjoyable golf for all skill levels. Clubhouse oversees the iconic Black Course and is a great place to discuss & dissect the round.

This place was an excellent spot to have fun with family especially young kids. The jungle gym is very intricately designed for maximum fun. My 5 year old son had a great time swinging and sliding and climbing and running around and spinning and bouncing and generally having an outstanding time. To think I lived nearby for 20 years and I am just now figuring out what a great park Bethpage is. I do my daily runs on the path way, today took my fat tired mountain bike and rode the trails, and then came back later in the day for a walk with the kid and the dog. There are so many trails to explore. The trails are relatively flat and easy side, and there are miles of them

Well worth the travel to play the most difficult public course in America. The people's country club did not disappoint. It is long but very manageable if you check your ego at the door. The pace of play was surprisingly decent.

You need to pay for parking unless you have Empire Pass. I completely the Hoffa and Aspen loop trail in an hour and 11 minutes. The AllTrails app was needed for navigation since the loop contained some mud, sand, and unmarked trails. However, it was overall a moderate trail to follow. Highly recommend!
