In summary

Cantiague Park Golf Course is frequently praised for being a suitable and affordable option for beginners and those looking to practice short game skills, with a well-maintained layout and convenient amenities like a driving range and miniature golf. The park also offers additional recreational facilities such as picnic areas, sports fields, and courts. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and higher fees for non-residents, as well as occasional maintenance concerns like goose droppings and inadequate course markers.

Wonderful course to practice those in between shots. Greens are firm and true and the fairways are in good shape with very little rough. Recommended for beginners just remember course and golf etiquette.

Great course for beginners and is usually in pretty good shape. However, the guy who works mondays hates his job and doesn’t know how to treat customers.

The condition of the course has improved but markers for the tee boxes and 150 yard sticks should be in place. Friendly golfers make rounding out a foursome fun.

Decent little course with a few holes that are 200+ yards. Beware.. Everything you have ever loved will be caked in goose droppings.. It's a little out of control.

Always packed with slow players. A couple with nobody in-front of them is playing 2 balls each and every single person is waiting behind them. A guy came to teach his daughter and held up play so long people left and 9 holes took 4 1/2 hours. Bad players don't understand that if people are waiting on you don't keep trying to hit the ball 10ft…go pick it up and drop it closer to the green so play can resume at a decent pace. Never again will I go, shortest out of 4 times was 3 1/2 hours…..almost 30min a hole for a very easy 9 holes mainly par 3’s. Its great people are learning but you cant hold…

Perfect park for all age groups. kids, adults everyone can have good time. We spend most of our evenings, weekends during summer here. Free barbeque spot, reserved picnic area, ice skating rink and mini golf are highlights. Tennis court, squash courts are my personal favorites. ample parking space available.

Decent 9 hole practice course. Easy to walk. Tip: there's poison ivy in several spots on the course so if you happen to knock a ball in the deep stuff, leave it there.

Good place to "graduate" from driving ranges and school yards to a "real" golf course. 9 holes with a no frills driving range that is never too crowded. A Nassau county leisure pass is a must for this 9 hole course otherwise you'll be charged a ridiculous amount of money.

Good course for beginners, only 9 holes and a lot of parts 3's. Go on off hours and you won't be disappointed. For most of us leave the driver at home.
