In summary

Bent Creek Golf Course is praised for its beautiful setting with creeks and mountain views, as well as its friendly and helpful staff. The course layout offers a challenging experience, particularly on the back nine, making it appealing for those looking to improve their skills. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens, inconsistent pace of play, and a significant presence of gnats. The course is under new management, which is working to improve its overall condition.

Went mid day on a Saturday and had a blast! The course is beautiful with all of the creeks running through it and the mountains nearby. Staff was super friendly, although they stressed the importance of one-time starts to reduce congestion on the course. Don't expect to play a quick round, especially on a weekend at times of super nice weather. The golf backed up for us on the back nine, but we otherwise really enjoyed it. The course conditions were reasonable, but not PGA competition grade. Good enough to be highly enjoyable for a weekend golfer though. Bring lots of extra balls if you can…

The lady at the front desk was working her butt off & was very friendly & helpful, my son in law had such a great time we played the back 9 twice! Very beautiful & well maintained course & we will definitely recommend to others & will be back to play here again!

Strictly for the staff it gets 5 stars. Proshop team and cart staff were great! Super friendly and helpful. As for the course??? Hard 2. Course has so much potential but needs a lot of TLC. Just seems like it’s been neglected for a long time. Every green, I mean every green was overtaken by crabgrass and lots of overgrown trees. My hope is Hilton will be investing some time and recovery effort into this course. Again Staff 5 stars.

Beautiful golf course that was in great shape! Amazing views with lots of creeks and bridges to go over. Staff was friendly and courteous. Only had time to play the front nine but would definitely return to play the whole course.

The greens are a little slow, But what a nice layout. The front nine was a little benign. The back nine was very challenging. You had to pay attention to the yardages. All in all a great place to play

This was my first time playing the course and I really enjoyed my round. The front 9 is somewhat forgiving but still places a priority of shot placement on most of the holes. Water comes into play on the majority of the holes on this course, mostly in the form of creeks and streams running along the holes, though a few have streams that cross the fairways, and this is where a lot of the target golf shots come into play. The back nine will eat your lunch if you don't have good shot control. Hazards and woodlands bring trouble into play on almost all of the holes on the back. I'm writing this af…

Horrible experience. For a first time playing this course the greens are too tight together no maps of the course . The best holes are 1 and 18 . 2-17 you will be lost . Tee boxes are nice only downside to the layout is everything is too complicated to be a 18hole course . Back 9 was beautiful but electric carts on a mountain are not the move . I would not play here again

Colin and his ground crew have done a great job of improving the golf course over the past 5 years. The greens were in pretty decent shape for this late in the season. It's tough to keep the crab grass off the green when flooding washes the treatment away multiple times during the year. I hope Hilton provides additional $$ to help make this course a top course in the area. The staff in clubhouse is very friendly, and I can't wait until I play there next year.

Views are nice but the course is difficult to keep balls in play and there was no one to keep pace of play going. Maintanence was blowing leaves on to the fairways of the back 9 which didn't make sense. They also have little to no amenities for golfers, very basic pro shop, no clubhouse.

Great course, friendly staff. This course has everything. Water hazards, lots of sand traps, deep deep rough. Lots of elevation changes. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Only downside to this course, is the gnats. Apply bug repellant before going out, and enjoy.

First, I was charged $39 for 9 holes (that's with the 'locals' discount). That is a VERY bold price for this course.... the conditions of the fairways are decent, but the greens are awful. The gnats totally surround you as you set up, and are all over you until you drive away... even with bug repellent. It's very sad since I live 10 minutes away, and prefer to drive 45-60 minutes away to play at a premium course for the same money, maybe a bit more. The scenery and the staff are wonderful. It was my first time playing there this year and I was hoping it would've been better.... especially as a…
