Patriot Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its scenic and challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a unique mix of par threes, fours, and fives, with beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains. However, some players have expressed concerns about the pace of play and course management, noting occasional delays and overcrowding during peak times.

Good course with lots of hills. Greens were areated recent-ish and still have a bit of growing to do, but this spring weather hasn't helped yet. We will be back for another round definitely.

Played Patriot Hills with my wife who doesn't play. I have to say I was skeptical after paying $38 on a weekday. I was expecting a "just short of being a goat ranch" golf course. I was pleasantly surprised. It started with a very nice man who checked me in. Started off pretty good. After teeing off, I really enjoyed the hilly terrain which I enjoy. Nice to get away from the Indiana flat courses. The fairways were fine and the greens were faster than what I thought they would be. All in all not bad for the price and the par 5's were really par 5's. I would definitely play there again in the fut…

Very nice course. Even in September the fairways still had good grass. Challenging par 3’s from the White Tees. #13 and #15 more than 170 yds and the wind was kicking the day we played. Plenty of scoring opportunities though because the course has 6 par fives and 6 par threes. Beautiful views of the Great Smokey Mtns. In the distance you could see the Nantahala Forest which separates TN from NC. Hope to get to play this course again next year.

I'm from WV, wife let me get 1 round in on vacay and I chose Patriot Hills after alot of research. Glad they had a range but BEWARE!! It's only about 225-230 and they do not allow drivers on the range, so no driver warm ups. That's where the negatives stop!! I got paired with 3 locals who were VERY COOL, they helped me out with course management and aim points on blind shots. The fairways were beautiful, carpet like. The greens were challenging to figure out, started out slow and wet, but when they dried, very quick and true. The back 9 looked to have been punched not so long ago but still rol…

Outstanding course with a fun and beautiful layout, great condition, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Awesome place to play while visiting on vacation to the Pigeon Forge area. High on our list to return and play.

I have played this course many times over the years while visiting the area. The staff is always helpful. The course is in pretty good condition. I have played nicer, but this is probably undervalued for what it is.

NOT FRIENDLY WITH NEW GOLFERS. I recently found some golf clubs and wanted to try golf. Me and a few friends came to Patriot Hills and payed for a round of golf. On our second hole we parked off the cart path and went to hit our balls, when an employee came and aggressively told us to get back on the cart path we complied and continued on our way. On the fifth hole another employee came and told us the leave, cussed us out for not knowing everything about golf, yelled at us for being slow and many other things. We left but wanted a refund for the 9 holes we didn’t get to see. After waiting on…

The course is nice and usually plays pretty well. However, the few times I have gone it gets pretty backed up. They do not seem to care about pace of play at all. I have had a couple of rounds that took 5 hours or more. There is no ranger that is keeping up pace or a starter sending people off

Course was in decent shape, greens were very soft and rolled true. Fun layout. However, when we get to the first tee box, there are 3 groups all waiting to tee off at our tee time? We were behind a group of 6 all day and had 2 groups of 5 behind us. Took us over 5 hours to play 18 holes. And no water coolers out on the course in 95 degree weather wasn’t a plus either. This course would be great with a starter or a ranger on busy days to keep up pace of play. This place could be a gem if management cared more about it and took small steps forward like limiting groups to 4 and monitoring pace of…
