What People Say

In summary

Millstone Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its enjoyable course layout, which offers a mix of challenging greens and open fairways. The clubhouse and amenities, including the carts, are generally well-received, though the driving range is noted to be small and the range balls overpriced. However, some visitors express concerns about the condition of the greens and bunkers, suggesting that the course could benefit from additional maintenance.

can’t really complain! Fairways were in great condition, stay in the fairway. If you miss the fairway, it’s questionable what you’re hitting out of. Greens were rolling pretty good, but had a lot of bald spots. Staff was very friendly, and accommodating. Range, putting green, and chipping area available.

Played there last Saturday. Greens need serious work and the sand traps are completely unplayable. It's in serious need of all over repair. It use to be one of the best in this area but now I'd advise going somewhere else.

Scott from the pro shop was very friendly and the ladies at the grill were as well. I only played the front 9 but the course was in good shape and the pace was decent. Greens were a bit quick.

Putting greens are fast and need water. So hard that high arching shots make no marks to be repaired. Also, needed a hammer to drive tees into tee box ground. Fairways are about 80% green, but need more grass for better lies.

Millstone is a fun golf course off hwy 160 on the West side of Morristown. The course is very open with little sand and even less water. This is great for me as I have a tendency of losing balls! You will find enough Par 3's to make you feel good about your game and then some 5's that will make you wonder why you even play the game. The carts worked well and were clean. The clubhouse is nice and sells what you would expect to find there. The only slight negative is the driving range isn't really that big.

Millstone is a great course. The greens are the challenge here. The fairways are wide and well maintained. From the low handicapper to the high handicapper this course is a pleasure to play.

Used driving range only. Balls for range are way OVER-PRICED at $8 for only 60 balls! Wow! Plus, balls are horrible, looking like they came from the bottom of a pond somewhere, being all brown or gray, and some are badly cut. RIDICULOUS! If you're charging that HIGH price for range balls, they should be in great condition!

Nice course. Scoreable. Greens were not great looking( whose are with all the rain this year) but rilles true with good speed. Good value.

Terrible experience with this place...it’s sad that you celebrate when you finally get someone in the pro shop to answer a call. Also the general manager Scott won’t call back when you leave him a message or respond to a email. Good luck with contacting this place.

Good price but greens not good. Very little sand in bunkers. Fairways getting sparse. Course could use some TLC.
