Aston Oaks Golf Club

We ate today at the Oakland restaurant located at Aston Oaks golf club. Sadly it wasn’t all that good. The interior definitely needs an upgrade/overhaul. It’s definitely showing its age. As for the food it was GFS frozen French toast sticks that were lack luster in taste. The waffles were also less than tasty. The omelette station was about the only tasty item on the breakfast buffet closely followed by the fried chicken and goetta. We played on July 25, 2025, and the course was in terrible condition. Every fairway was a combination of mud and crab grass while the tee boxes were placed in the little remaining grass they had left. Greens were in terrible shape and often surrounded by mud. My local $10 municipal courses are in better shape than this so STAY AWAY unless you found a deal for under $15 to play. See the pictures I posted - and these were some of the better holes! Stunning course. Amazing design and beautiful course. Proshop has a wide selection, great food options, friendly staff, fast greens and beautiful scenery. There was not a single hole that lacked character or the wow factor! Even living in Cbus I'll be going back regularly.

Jack Nicholas designed golf course. Decent driving range and half the balls were in decent shape. Nice clubhouse with a pro shop, restaurant, bar and a nice balcony overlooking holes 1 & 9. The course layout is great, not easy. Good undulation on the greens, bunkers we're in good shape. But to play here June 2024 the greens were just beat up with ball marks but fixed so most dead spots, then the fairways and rough had some really rough areas so it would be great to see this course in prime shape. Attended a wedding here tonight. The facilities, staff and experience was awesome. The food fantastic (they served Dijon chicken and roast beef sliced to order on front of you). Great time!

This place is awesome. We braved the cold and got 14ish holes in. I’m sure this place is great during the peak season. It’s tough but forgiving and it offers a lot of different hole types. The staff there is amazing as well. Very helpful. They gave us a covered cart and that help us brave the cold some more. We actually left our range finders and they were able to find them and hold on until we got back. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely go back.

Beautiful and difficult course. Some distractions with construction but it’s great that they’re staying on top of maintenance. Long drives between some holes but that was part of the charm of this course. Price was fantastic for the quality, challenge, and Nicklaus name.

Absolutely one of my favorite courses in Cincinnati. The course was in beautiful condition yesterday. The layout is wonderful and challenging. The clubhouse is awesome and the food is one of the best I have experienced in any golf course in SW Ohio. The food optioyare numerous and the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. I have seen many golf clubhouse restaurants have their food WAY overpriced. No problem here. The golf carts are outstanding with touchscreen options and GPS. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to be back here again

Really enjoyed our time playing 18 holes here. Course is located in a very nice community with a couple scenic views. Course was in great shape for it being mid October. I did get a brat on the turn from the clubhouse that wasn't very good. I would get something else to eat next time! Other than that I am looking forward to returning in the future for another round! ⛳️

Went for dinner with a group of 8. Service was pretty slow. Our meals were all quite good. Prices also very reasonable.

The course is one of the only in the area that is actually trying to repair damage from the disease that has hit several of the courses I have played recently, there was a lot of repaired areas completed with sod replacement and seeding ongoing . I was pleasantly surprised with the overall condition of the course after reading some of the negative reviews and expect things to continue to get even better. The t boxes were ok and greens were good, I look forward to coming back for another round .

Hopefully the course is better than last year conditions. But overall good course
