In summary

Neumann Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and diverse layout featuring three nine-hole courses, which many find enjoyable and well-maintained under normal conditions. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in course maintenance, with issues such as dry and overgrown fairways, damaged greens, and poor overall upkeep being noted, leading some to question the value for the price. While some visitors continue to enjoy the course, others are disappointed by the current conditions and slow pace of play.

First time playing here, and I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely a shorter course, but it was still fun to play. The course staff was very friendly & the course was in great shape. For $44 you can’t beat the price.

as of august 17th 2025 don't bother paying over 50$ for this course. nothing about this course would make me come back. I remember a few years ago it was fairly nice but whatever changed has made it one of the worse on the west side of town. any ball in the fairway was either in a brown bare spot or on crab grass. the fringe around the greens is nonexistent..many putts were missed due to hitting divots or old cup spots. take your money elsewhere.

One of the more expensive courses to play in Cincinnati. $55 for 18 holes which I don’t mind paying if the course is taken care of. But when every fairway is brown and the grass is dry the tee boxes are overgrown and the course is not taken care of, that’s too expensive. You’re better off paying less at a different course that is better taken care of. It was not a good experience

Usually this course is in decent condition and fun to play but you can tell they really let it go this summer. They are repairing most of the fairways which is fine but the greens are beat up significantly. There’s usually no concept of tee times but this time was bad. Groups of 5 teeing off together today. No marshal to keep things moving. I’d pay $25 for something like that maybe but not $44. Probably will spend the extra and go to Aston for the rest of the season. Hopefully it gets better next year

This course is in absolute shambles. I have been playing Neuman since 2006 and I’ve never seen it or any other course for that matter in worse shape. What happened? Neuman used to be the CRC gold standard. I’m not sure if the seasons ending and the maintenance budget was cut but I’ll probably never play there again:

It's a very nice course consisting of three nine hole adventures. It's well kept. The staff in the clubhouse are friendly. The greens will definitely test your putting skills. If the people that play the course would fix their ball marks on the greens and their divots in the fairways the course would be even better.

Great public course, 3-9's, always in good condition with fast greens. Top 10 public course in my opinion.

Played this course 08-17-2025 and it was one of the worse conditioned golf courses I have ever played on. And i have played on some really bad condition course. Most every fairway and tee boxes were just shit. We played the white and blue course. Save your money unless you are desperate to play golf

Course is in horrible condition, trash everywhere, garbage bags piled up on tee boxes. Solid 10 minutes before you can tee off each hole waiting on slow players.

Played Friday with my son who is new into the game, we played 9 on the red course, the greens were fast not too bad, butt some of the fairways were nothing but mudd,,I don't know what happened, I have been playing this course for 40+ years, this is the absolute worst I have ever seen, I just don't feel like I got my money's worth, I can't be the only one who feels this way, if the course is under repair or is being airraded I don't think I should have to pay full price.... on a good note the staff was very friendly

Neumann is usually a well kept track with some of the more challenging greens in the city. I can honestly say after today I'll probably never be back. Course is in TERRIBLE shape. Half the green are in great shape the other half are full of craters. Fairways are completely gone and burnt to hell on most of the course. It was 50/50 whether fairways were even mowed. The fact that they are charging everyone 52 dollars to play a overgrown cow pasture is criminal. Sad to see this long time west side gem seem like its in the process of being forgotten.
