In summary

Arcadia Municipal Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and affordability, making it a welcoming spot for both new and seasoned golfers. The course is noted for its historical significance and ongoing improvements, with many praising the greens and fairways despite some areas needing further attention. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course layout and maintenance, such as drainage problems and inconsistent fairway conditions, which occasionally detract from the overall experience.

Fun Course and great staff. Greens and tee boxes were great, but the greens putted a little slow. The fairways that had grass were awesome. Keep improving the course, we will be back again.

Great people, nice course for high handicappers and wide open. Good sight lines for target golf.

Good pace of play. Course is in pretty good condition, especially considering the very heavy rains just a few days ago. Lots of fun. Great value!

Nice course and good people working there. We are new to golf and the staff was very patient with us and helped us secure some lessons for my wife.

Nice course. Not too crazy busy, but busy enough. Grass needs a little weed and feed, but overall, it's a nice course.

Had a blast. Played 36 holes for $20. Great summer pricing. Drove over from Bradenton. The 10th course I played on historic golf trail. The assistant pro was great too. Took time talk to us as visitors. Been wanting to play course for 2 years as part of golf trail. Thank you for making a golf bucket list become a realty. Everything and everyone was appreciated. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful local course. One of the oldest courses in Florida. Golf history. People are friendly and happy. Great place!

Would be nicer if they were actually open. This is two Saturdays I have driven 40 minutes to see that they are closed. Should not have to call to verify that they are open when they brag about always being open on their website. It has not even rained much this last week and their course is flooded. Seems like they have drainage issues. Cheap and nice course for the price but only valuable if it’s actually open.

First the crew was friendly. The practice area is good. As for the course, well it is dry season in Florida and some of the fairways are desert brown. At lot of the fairways while "green" were a mixture of grass and weeds. They certainly were not a normal fairway surface. Actually the greens were a pleasant surprise. They were green and only one looked like it had some type of broad leaf weeds on it (Back-9). The greens were is good shape and the ball held and rolled well The course layout itself is very interesting; meaning, the layout of a bunch of the front nine is awkward. Why? It looks l…

Greens were rough, fairways mostly good. Wide open, few trees and only 5 holes where water is much of an issue.
