In summary

Deep Creek Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and welcoming staff, offering a friendly atmosphere and enjoyable amenities such as a clubhouse restaurant. While the course provides a good balance of challenge and playability, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of tee boxes and fairways, as well as occasional slow pace of play. Despite these concerns, many find it a worthwhile experience, especially for mid-level golfers seeking a reasonably priced round.

This golf course offers a well-balanced mix of challenge and relaxation. The fairways are well-maintained, and the greens are in solid condition, ensuring an enjoyable round of golf. The layout requires strategic play—narrow fairways and well-placed water hazards make precision more important than sheer driving distance. The par-3 holes stand out in particular, demanding accurate approach shots. The entire facility exudes a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive, and the practice facilities provide a good warm-up opportunity, though the driving range is irons-only, which m…

I used to live in a condo on number eleven a par 3. It was fantastic area to live, swim and golf. I always hit range balls every Saturday am. I Ran miles and absolutely enjoyed this safe haven Community. 💖 My husband and I want to rent a condo on this golf Any availability?

Played 18 holes on February 8, 2026. This course is in terrible shape. Everything is baked out and hard panned. The greens while rolling fast had more ball marks than if they were aerated. Does no one know how to repair their marks? The fairways are so chewed up and nearly every water feature was almost empty. I’m sure drained due to the lack of rain and overuse. All in all I’m sure this is a decent course, when weather conditions are a little more conducive. All in all not really impressed at all especially considering the cost.

I'm a big fan. It's short but challenging. The greens are excellent but some of the tee boxes are a little beat up. Over all, a great value for your buck. Oh, yea the staff are courteous and very friendly.

Greens in excellent shape. Fairways okay. A lot of the tee boxes were beat up. First time I played this course under five hours, 3.5. Great drink prices in bar.

Greens were true and beautiful. Fairways were in good condition. Tees were decent. Nice course for the average golfer. Usually have a second shot. Nice people work there which makes it comfortable. Dave and Tom were great.

The greens are starting to come back thanks to the tireless work of the crew. Fairways are beautiful and the layout, as always, is challenging. You won't find a nicer, more welcoming and hospitable staff in all of Southwest Florida. Give Deep Creek a try...you'll love it!

I love the course. Well maintained and mostly challenging and interesting holes. Cheerful and efficient staff. Great little clubhouse restaurant and beer lady on the course. I play there half a dozen times a year, notwithstanding 45 minute drive to get there and my driving by eight decent courses on the way. No, it's not Augusta or Pebble Beach, but if that's what you're looking for in a public course, your expectations are unrealistic. Could be a little less expensive, though. Joel M. Proyect

Love this course! Very reasonably priced, not a long course but still challenging enough for your average golfer. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. I’m always greeted with a hello and a smile
