In summary

Blue Heron Pines Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and scenic layout that offers a mix of challenging holes, particularly on the back nine. Visitors appreciate the community feel and the variety of amenities, including a newly reopened pro shop and a pleasant clubhouse. However, some guests have experienced issues with tee time management and a lack of clear communication regarding the dress code, which has led to frustration for a few.

This course was in amazing condition. I played with Dave and Ann. I had some much fun. This will be my winter course. I walked into the clubhouse and knew no one and was treated like I had been coming in for years. Everyone was incredibly nice. I look forward to playing there again. Thank you Dave and Ann for making my round so much fun.

Unfortunately we didn’t even get a chance to golf here because there was a league going off the same time as our tee time. Our group of four paid days before our tee time, and we had to get a refund. They sent us away and told us to go through Golf Now which was a pain, and they only gave us a credit which is upsetting since we live in Michigan. Not a good look!

Pro shop is now reopened and port a potties are gone! Course is in great shape and offers strong challenges for an executive course.

A great value for the money. The back nine is challenging and really picturesque. The club pro is friendly and I could sense the feel of community amongst the players. I'll be back!

FYI - 1 star is too many! Just tried playing the course with my wife today. Spent 10 minutes scouring their website for a dress code as the high today was expected to be close to 100' found NONE! Showed up in a light summer shirt with no collar and was told I would not be allowed to play unless I purchased one of their expensive collared shirts. I reminded him of the current temperature and that nowhere on their website does it even mention a dress code of any kind! He said they are "under new management" and are "working on updating the website"? Both individuals were extremely rude and said…

Awesome for the affordability. Play the back nine for more nature. The front is more residential. Currently, both fairways and greens are equal to the Myrtle Beach courses I played last week.

My wife and I visit Punta Gorda yearly and enjoy playing this course. Feb/Mar tees seem to play a little closer than we would like, but visiting in winter months you get what you get. We enjoy the coolers that are given out when ordering beverages.. do wish to see coolers added to the carts vs two sand/seed buckets.

Nice, mostly par 3 course. Would not be much of a challenge for a very skilled golfer, but perfect for a duffer like me 😀

No dress code listed. Seen golfers in tee shirts walking and playing. Tried to play with my cousin father and uncle but guy in the clubhouse said collar shirts only. I had a plain long sleeve sun barrier shirt on. Discriminated esp when other people walking around golfing in tees. Small pat three under construction for the love of God
