In summary

Zionsville Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and suitability for beginners, with its 9-hole layout offering a mix of flat and slightly challenging holes. The course is noted for being compact, which leads to potential cross-fire from adjacent holes, and some reviews mention the need for more watering during dry seasons. Despite these minor issues, the course's affordability and welcoming atmosphere make it a popular choice among locals and visitors.

I think this is a really fun golf course. I am very new to golf so I struggled a lot but I think it’s still good for beginners. The last 4 holes are also really fun and beautiful. Must play course if you live near by. Also the staff here is some of the nicest people you will ever talk to, a really solid course overall.

2025.8.16. Nice little course with well maintained greens. It is compact, but tried to have some interesting hole designs. Since it is very compact and holes are so close to each other, so be careful of cross-fire balls from adjacent holes!

This is a well kept 9 hole course that’s great for a quick round. There’s no sand to worry about but there are plenty of trees that provide a good challenge. The course is pretty flat until the last 3-4 holes. Last few times I’ve been out, I’ve also crossed paths with some deer on hole 9. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re a beginner trying to improve your game, or if you just need to blow off some steam after work.

Great beginner course. Open, short, and usually in great shape. A lot of work done over the years to improve drainage and general upkeep.

Greens and fairways were well-maintained and in excellent condition. The course is only 9 holes but we played it twice and it kept us entertained. Things are pretty wide open so this is a nice course for beginners too.

Simple 9 hole layout that is well maintained. There are no bunkers, but plenty of trees and rough to deal with. It's easily a 5 star for the money. You won't regret checking it out. If the price increases, it's a 3-4 star.

Love this course a little tight between 3 and 4, if you're not straight easily can place a drive on opposite fairway. Love 7th and 9th holes, driving off elevated tees, 8 was prob the hardest driving up to an elevated green with a slight dog leg right, there's a tree you need to go up and over to drop on green, you can't go thru it! I will be back!

Classic municipal golf course. Accessible to any golfer, quirky, fun and in good shape. Price is right and I love playing here. Easy to score well but also lots of thought is needed on each of the Par 4s. Brought my 6 year old for his first round and he felt very welcome.

I love this nine hole course! the great condition of the tea boxes, fairways and greens. They do a good job of fall leaves they do a great job overall. I also very much enjoy the trees and the undulated greens and the elevated greens and t-boxes! ⛳️🏌🏻👍🏻

9 hole course. $22 total cost. ($12 course play $10 cart fee). Fair to medium play golf course. It's been a very dry spring / summer. This course could use some watering to keep and grow new grass.
