Wood Wind Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and unique hole designs, offering a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play, pricing, and ongoing construction affecting the course layout and conditions. While the course has potential, improvements in these areas could enhance the overall experience.

First time playing here and have to say I loved it! From the moment I walked into the pro shop to everyone I spoke with and to the round I played. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The grounds crews were busy even this late in the fall. The carts are in good shape and the course was in great shape. The cart paths are concrete through out the course which is hard to find on a public course. Granted there were a few rough spots in the concrete but nothing you could drive around. The fairways and greens were in great shape for fall golf. The tee boxes were relatively flat and not domed like I find…

Its a decent course, well maintained and some good deals off peak. But there are a lot of very short par 4s regardless of tee box choice and if you dont go after 2pm this place is way overpriced. Significant pace of play issues and playing through doesnt usually help much

Fairways and greens are nice. The hole layouts and design are very simple. The front 9 doesn’t work well with apps (Bushnell, 18 Birdies, etc) due to new holes being added. The chipping and putting practice areas are nice but the lack of actual driving range is disappointing. At least there’s a net to hit into. The carts are nice. The parking lot is tiny = put as many golfers in one vehicle as you can. The staff was friendly.

Playing a 5 hour round is unacceptable! Plus you can hit driver on driving holes. Layout isn’t enjoyable and the waiting is ridiculous. Not worth the $75

It pays to play at Woodwind! It’s been over a year since I last played this course. What a difference a year makes. I was greeted by the friendliest pro in town. Elliott let me know my senior rate was much less than the one GolfNow quoted. Great start! Introduced me to my now new friend, Yinshui, who is a better golfer than me and has introduced the game to his grandson. Before heading to the first tee I grabbed a PowerAde from concessionaire extraordinaire Corrine. This personality plus college intern is sure to run the whole place someday. We had a delightful round starting with the ranger’s…

This is a really well kept and challenging golf course. Most of the holes are pretty unique. I really like hole 14 and 8. They are really fun par 3s. The greens, tee boxes, and bunkers were really well kept. The price is pretty good too. It’s only 4 stars because it is hard and I’m am absolute trash at golf and it really killed my ego.

The course was in amazing shape given that we have not had much rain lately. The new course layout is fantastic. Fun yet a little challenging. I would give the greens a B as I believe they needed to be a little faster but they did putt true. Friendly staff thank you.

Customer service over the phone is terrible. Pro shop was very rude. I got hung up on and yelled at. Fine golf course would be better with better costumer service.

Greens were so beat up from people not fixing ball marks was absolutely crazy to fix 6 to 8 ball marks almost every green. Greens need some TLC and not worth the 72$$

The course was in good condition. Pace of play was fine, the group ahead of us allowed us to play through. There weren't many golfers on the course, as it was calm, nearly 90 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Kevin, in the pro shop, was great. I've played this course a couple times before and I'll be back.

*Updated review as of 9/26/2022 - The course renovations are pretty much completed after 2 years, and two new holes (#8 and #9) have been created and the layout of the previous course has been adusted accordingly. The course is in good shape overall, however it's only ~6,200 from the tips, so it's a now a pretty short course. There is no driving range, however you can pay to hit balls into a net before you play, although you still have to pay for it. They also want you to pay $5 to use their "practice facility" behind the clubhouse and mentioned to me that it was a top 10 best public course pr…

Ever since this place sold to a developer and got rid of two of the best holes this course hasn’t been the same. Dandelions everywhere sand is non existent in the bunkers you’re basically hitting off cement. This place is now unfortunately as trash as my bunker game with normal sand. $75 for this place is nuts I’d rather play Sahm Park.
