In summary

The Golf Club of Indiana is praised for its well-maintained greens, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and comprehensive amenities, including excellent practice facilities and youth programs. The course layout is appreciated for its challenge and beauty, though some visitors note that the pace of play can be slow and tee times are often tightly scheduled, leading to congestion. While the course hosts numerous events, which can limit availability, management is generally accommodating in addressing scheduling issues.

Outstanding event yesterday thank you to the club for hosting the Indiana quarterfinals of the drive chip and putt competition. 16 youngsters will go from here to the regional competition and then many on to Augusta Georgia during the Masters.

Good course if you stay in the short grass. Summer has dried out the rough and burned up the grass that they don't water. Tee boxes need some work and there was a couple of flooded areas due to like a sprinkler head leaking. Staff was really nice and the divot jugs were mostly full so you could repair.

We moved to Zionsville in 2014, when our son was 4 years old. We've been playing on this course in some capacity since then. Our son is now 15 and has a youth membership through GCI. The course is extremely busy, as they host numerous events and have nearby highschool team(s) use the course as well, which can sometimes create a challenge to get times to play. Despite those limitations, when I reached out to management, Jeff and Steve were extremely gracious and accommodating. They worked with us to get our son out on the course numerous times each week, even though the course schedule was al…

For what we paid for, it was not reasonable. Tee times were too close together so we were waiting on the people in front and had people right behind us the whole round. They shouldn't offer tee times when the maintenance crew is out mowing on every single hole. So every hole was people ahead, people behind, and lawn mowers roaring all around. Was glad it was over. Fairways and greens were in good shape for a public course.

Outstanding golf destination in central Indiana. Well manicured greens and tee boxes. Knowledgeable and professional staff. 5-Stars!

A fine course for the area. Entire course is flat, but plenty of water and sand to make things interesting. Staff and facilities are great. The grounds have lost some charm with the housing addition built around the course. Conditions are well maintained.

Nice course, but they should mention it when you book a round if they close the entire practice range and you can’t warm up at all.

I haven't played a round of golf here yet, but I've taken private lessons with Susan and I'm currently participating in my second month of evening clinics with her. She is an incredible instructor! She is extremely patient, encouraging, and provides helpful critiques of technique. I've really learned a lot. I'm enjoying getting to use the indoor facilities and the technology that comes along with them now that the weather is cooler. GCI has a lot to offer a beginner golfer like me! I also have experience with their kids program as my stepson attended Summer Camp here. He always had a great t…

Arrive early to hit some balls. Told that the range, chipping green, and putting green were all closed. No notice on the website or when booking a tee time. Not a big deal and it’s great that the course was hosting an event, but at least have the courtesy to tell paying customers ahead of time so no one wastes time getting to the course early that day. Probably won’t be back here for quite a while.

I had lessons with Tony Day and he was so patient and he was very knowledgeable. In less than a month I have shaved 4 strokes off my game. I’m looking forward to shaving more off as I’m starting to “feel the swing” Thanks again Tony

This course is so poorly managed. The layout and conditions are great and exceeded expectations. The pace of play is so painfully slow it makes this course almost unplayable. Our round took 5 hrs and 25 mins and the tee sheet wasn’t even full. Please hire a starter and a Marshall to monitor pacing…. Super easy way to turn this into a fantastic public track.
