Woodcrest Golf Club

Let me start off with this course is fun to play and was in pretty good condition considering how dry its been. The greens were fantastic , soft and fast. Now the bad part. When my friends and are done golfing we like to Have a beverage at the club house. The club house was very nice and was surprised that no other golfers were in there. Then one of the staff , not the bartender she was wonderful and attentive. This other beastly old woman and I’m guessing a manager was rude and looking to start a fight with us. Great golf course where you have to pick your shots carefully. Fast greens excellent price.

Course quality, pace of play, clubhouse, rates -- everything about this course is top-notch. I consider this to be one of the better courses in CNY.

An absolutely beautiful course, tremendous challenges on the course and a great and challenging back nine. Very friendly people. This is a Members club but they will let you play out on the course and they're like I said they're very nice people. Give it a try. It's a tough course. It's fun though. So much fun

Favorite course I've played in Syracuse so far. Very well maintained, staff was friendly, and it actually has decent sand bunkers. Price point was very good for the quality of the course. Difficulty wise, I suffered on the front 9. Back 9 was tighter, but for some reason I played it better. Be sure to call for a tee-time. Definitely recommend!

Terrible experience throughout the golf year with the staff especially John in the pro shop. John has zero professionalism at all as he couldn’t accommodate a paying member that wants his loved one to ride in my cart and not play golf? Like what is so wrong with me paying for the cart and her riding with me.Then he proceeded to go on and say we don’t need your business and that we can’t play all because I had my loved with me is absolutely ridiculous. I will never become a member or do business with these people ever again and would never recommend this course to any of my family and friends.

Well run course. Great greens. Layered fairways. Difficult, starting one the first hole where you have to cross large creek bed that you cant see and narrow fairways on back nine. Great views of Oneida Lake and valley. Good food at fair prices at the restaurant. One of my favorites.

Very beautiful course, with decent rates. Every hole was maintained very well and the scenery was very peaceful. The bar atmosphere seemed very nice, and they had dogs and burgers ready to go on the turn. I will plan on trying the food the next visit.

This is wonderful course. Whenever I visit my son, who lives in Manlius, I make a point to play here. The course is in great condition and the folks in the pro shop are very friendly. I personally think the front 9 is tougher than the back. At 74 years old, I don't hit the ball as long as I'd like but I do hit it straight. The two par 5s on the front (1 & 7) are really challenging for me, but they keep me coming back! Woodcrest is definitely my favorite course in the Syracuse area.

First time at Woodcrest today. I had a lot of fun! Course was in excellent condition. The scenery is amazing. You can look north and see over Oneida Lake. I look forward to going again soon.
