In summary

Winnfield Golf is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned players. The course offers a laid-back, country-style experience with friendly staff, but it operates on a cash-only basis and lacks some modern conveniences like credit card payments. However, some visitors have reported issues with course layout confusion, inconsistent pricing, and occasional staff rudeness, which can detract from the overall experience.

The man was extremely rude. Cursing in front of customers, especially teenagers, using the F word multiple times is completely unprofessional and classless. Threatening to destroy someone else’s property is absolutely uncalled for and completely insane just because he wanted to close and something was forgotten on the course and we had to go back and get it. Will not be going back and will be spreading the word to our friends who also golf here.

Goofy layout. Course card does not match the holes. You may get lost. Carts are in rough shape. Closed at odd times. Folks are grouchy at times. Driving range prices are all over the place. I’ve never paid the same price for a wide range of bags of balls. I have tried to buy a membership twice. They don’t accept credit or debit cards. Greens are a very bright spot. As good as any out there. Place needs a good rethink and more accommodating staff and owner. Can’t beat the price of greens fees if you are willing to put up with some eccentricity.

We played two 9 hole rounds here at the end of July. Hole layout was little confusing the first round (more signage would be a plus), but by the second round it was easier to follow. The greens were good to fair conditions, fairways are little rough in places but for the pricing no complaints and will return to play in the future. Holes 6, 7 & 8 have a great layout, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a CASH ONLY course and a little bit on the country boy side, everyone was friendly.

When it first opened, it was an inexpensive place to play. Not so much anymore. It's a decent course but you can play 18 holes at Fore Sisters for the same price you can play 9 holes at Winnfield and Fore Sisters is much nicer.

Not a bad course for the price at all, alot of sloped fairways.

Reasonable priced but the course was in a state of mass confusion. There was no tee time required so we showed up at 2pm. There was a family of 6 in front of us using one set of clubs and also another group of 8 in front of them . This clogged up the entire course. All other groups were jumping around trying to find any open holes to play. We quit after 9 holes. Pretty stressful round of golf

The guy was EXTREMELY rude!!! Told us no Tee times to just come. We went no one there, we called and he was even ruder!!!! The place is at the back of a farm.. he said he was doing maintenance on something. The place was a disaster so not sure what he was maintaining!!!

Awesome country course. Accommodating staff just don't expect a fancy country club experience. 9 hole course with 2 tee boxes for replay
