In summary

Willowbend Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors praising the course's layout, friendly staff, and above-average food and beverage offerings. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding the condition of the fairways, greens, and bunkers, as well as concerns about customer service and pricing. Comedy Course Conditions If you ever want to pay for premium golf just to experience the emotional rollercoaster of “is this a golf course or a construction zone?”, Willowbend is your place. I’ve played many courses in Wichita, and this is easily the worst value I’ve seen yet, and somehow one of the more expensive. Cart paths: Pick your adventure…crumbling concrete, random gravel patches, or just… nothing. Greens: Slow, rough, and full of unrepaired divots. Major turf repairs looked like someone patched them with a garden shovel and a prayer. It felt like putting on shag carpet after a hai…

Fairways and greens are in great shape. Bunkers are rough right now. Rates are reasonable and usually speed of play is great. No gps on the carts. Staff are all friendly, food and beverage are well above average.

I will not understand how an organization can be so rude to someone trying to visiting them for the first time. I asked if I could book as a single (aware that I would get paired) , and walk instead of ride. It was like they were trying to get me to change my mind for booking as a single; it was clear they were annoyed. Not to mention that it is the same $58 dollars a round whether you are walking or riding. From reading other reviews, it appears they have a country club pomposity with mediocre public course amenities. A misplaced ego, if you will.

Love this course. But there is no discount for playing a second round. They even charge full price for cart you already used. And there’s no gps on carts so bring your range finder.

Great course big fairways and nice landscaping. It’s also actually nice to see a course with clean restrooms. My new favorite course open to the public in Wichita!

This place is horrible. The course is crap. Fairways look horrible. Roughest course I've ever ridden on. Don't waist your money on a game especially a membership.

Scot is rude and I had to call the police on him for grabbing me and yelling. He was fired from his last job and only got this job cause he was the cheapest guy to take it. I would go to any other golf club around the area if you have girls.

The course is in really good shape the greens are amazing. I played an early morning round and was wanting to turn the corner for more fun. They wouldn't give me a lower rate which I think is crazy but overall great course

It's been many years since I've played this course and it has really changed (for the worse) Fairways are inundated with weeds, greens are bumpy and spongy, cartpaths are in need of repair, and staff is not well trained. Clubhouse a/c not working. I may be mistaken but another Great Life owned disappointment

Had a fun round playing with the family. Course is in much better shape but still not worth what they are charging. No range balls included like some nicer courses. Waited for players ahead of us as expected on a Sunday afternoon. When we returned the carts after the round which ended about dark but enough light to play we got some attitude from the old guy about being back on time. Even snarled at my daughters so I had to return the last one. That went well. We won’t be going back for the price, quality of course and attitude we got. Should have taken pictures of lack of grass on tee boxes. G…

For being the most expensive tee time for a public course, this course was in worse shape than the Wichita public courses. Tee boxes looked like start of the rough, the fairways weren’t any better. Sticking to public courses will be better off for your money
