What People Say

In summary

Andover Municipal Golf Course is appreciated for its pleasant layout, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a good choice for quick rounds. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the course's maintenance, including patchy greens and fairways, and occasional issues with customer service and amenities such as golf carts and practice facilities. Despite these criticisms, many find it to be a convenient and enjoyable option for casual play.

Lady was rude when we got there. Told us we couldn’t get a golf cart when our tee time was 6:50 for 9 holes and they’re closing at 8. Then as we were paying telling her we needed rental clubs and then proceeded to tell us we can’t have those because she’s leaving before we’d be done. Was very disrespectful and poor professionalism towards customers.

Andover GC is a public course. It used to be named Cedar Pines. It is a pleasant par 33, 9 hole course that plays quickly & relatively easy. It has some water that comes into play, especially the first and 4th holes. Play is $15/9 holes and a dollar off for Andover residents.

Nice value for a small 9 hole golf course. Easy to get tee times and play a quick 9 or 18 holes when larger courses are all booked for the day. Greens/fairways/tee boxes need better maintenance and they could really use some warm food for better overall experience. For the price you get a fair trade off though. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy the game and people who support their place of work. Nearly birdied a chip on par 3 6th hole.

Very nice 9 hole course. Very scenic for Kansas. There is this creek that runs through the middle of it so you have to take that slope toward the creek into consideration on most holes. Staff is very friendly and a nice club house with golf streaming on large monitor and tables and comfortable chairs.

Nice little track, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Not in the best of shape but certainly playable and they're working on it.

Late in the season so expected not the best conditions but the course was in really good shape. Pace of play was great. Had a good front nine and decided to play the back nine as well.

First time ever playing here. Greens had seen some better days but it was right after winter. No one could prepare me for the electricity on hole 3. Getting ready to tee up and they have a whole on high speed chase burst out from the neighborhood next to us and onto the golf course. Got my adrenaline going for sure. Sadly didn’t fix my slice and about nailed someone’s house. 10/10 experience.

this place is nice for getting in without calling ahead however they charge just as much as a golf course with decent grass. some of these greens are 30%dirt 10%goose droppings and patchy which can make putting difficult. the fairways rarely have grass and because they don't water it well enough the ground gets pretty hard and kills the grass. supposedly they've been tearing up the ground to put in sprinklers but I played today and ground is still torn with orange construction fence that's been there over a year. considering I can play at tex consolver for basically the same price but all the…

Don’t let the front of the clubhouse fool you, it looks very well maintained. The actual course is a goat track. Maybe the worst value I’ve ever experienced. The shop staff was very nice, but the city needs to hire someone to work outside. Friendly people, no food and beverage, no driving range, and the worst maintained course I’ve played in years.

This little course is a great value and plays just the right length and time to fit in quick rounds and not make golf take your entire afternoon.

Just finished playing 5/15/24. Without question, in terms of condition, the worst golf course I’ve ever played on. Fairways almost 100% weeds. Some areas of fairways don’t even have weeds. You get to hit off dirt or clay. Greens with huge areas with no grass, I assume from fungus last year. Looks like they don’t put any money into it to keep it up.

If you’re looking for a sub 2 hour 9-hole game then this is for you. Every other hole was roughly 150 yards. I personally didn’t enjoy that. If I’m paying for 9 holes then I want to see mostly 300 yard or more holes. The time slots were also very close together.
