I'd rate the course at 4.5 stars, but I'll give a 5 star for the great staff and the affordable cost. As Shannon said the course is in pretty good shape. The tee boxes could use some help and in the dry conditions were pretty hard. We played on a couple of days after the greens were aerated and the sand lay was pretty aggressive so putting was just for funsies. The course has a lot of variety and plenty of tricky shots up and down hills. A whole bunch of above-and-below-the-feet lies will give you some good practice. Some blind tee shots over fairway rises may entice a few more irons from the…

One of my favorite golf courses in the area! The views of the mountains are amazing, and the course is always in great shape. It’s challenging enough to keep it interesting but still really playable at all skill levels. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the clubhouse has a nice vibe with a good pro shop and some solid food and drinks.

Very well-maintained, mostly. Fairways, tee boxes and rough were really good cut. Greens were kind of, mostly puttable. Great staff. Good carts. As time goes by I'm less and less a mountain course player so I struggled with a 91 today. No fault to the course or the layout l. Even pros just don't pair well with certain types of courses. I would play again if I'm in the area just because fairway conditions were so good. Maybe greens are better on spring and fall months.

This course was so much fun. Very hilly, and challenging if you have never played. Luckily we played with two great guys a they let us know about how the ball would be affected and where to hit. The staff was very nice and super accommodating. We will be playing again!

This is a great mountain golf course providing value at an entry level price. While the hills make it a challenging course to walk, cart golf is a blast. Greens are slow but well maintained and consistent. The lack of fairway bunkers and over water shots make it ideal for intermediate golfers and the short yardages may often negate the use of drivers. Several blind tee shots add to the challenge and the golf carts are fully electric (non noisy) so for the money, this is a tough course to beat. If you have tons of money, there are definitely nicer courses but not at this price point and ease of…

The course was very nice; however, the management was terrible. Not only were we given attitude the second we arrived for just finding out some of our group bailed, we were charged for someone to just ride in the golf cart with us, AND THEN had management tailing us saying we didn't pay for everyone! Thank God we kept the receipt showing we did in fact pay for everyone to be there doing exactly as they were doing. But that was probably the worst golf experience we've had. Screw that.

A nice course in a state park with nice views and some wildlife too. Greens were in great shape except for a couple of the par 3s that had some areas that needed to recover. Sand traps were wet with some standing water due to recent rains. Tee boxes were not level in all places, and there were some severely slanted fairways so watch your ball until it stops. There are a few blind shots on the course and no bells or other signals to indicate a clear shot, so the pace of play is not as quick as it could be, but overall things moved mostly without trouble. We enjoyed our round and would play here…

Great course. The course far outweighs the cost. Rangers are kind and knowledgeable, and the community members are too. You have to get a loaded dog from the concessions!

Fairways and greens in great shape , course layout is challenging and you hit every club in the bag . I don’t know how they do it for this price !

Not bad for a state park course , greens are on the slow side . And being public be prepared to wait . On weekends can take close to 5 hour to get 18 in . Very get able track tho you can take it low
