I haven't been to the Country Club for a few years so I was pleasantly surprised when served my meal at a luncheon recently. The turkey was moist and delicious, the dressing was fantastic (much better than my own), the mashed potatoes were wonderful, the asparagus adequately roasted and the rolls were good. Our dessert was an apple butter cake with cinnamon ice cream that tasted home made. The meal was so good! The only thing I was disappointed with was the cranberry sauce. It didn't taste home made to me and the cinnamon flavor was overwhelming. The wait staff was pleasant, helpful and serve…

The Country Club did a beautiful job of hosting "THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON" American Cancer Fund Raising gathering 11/4 sponsored by ONE STOP....we have been attending this event for the last several years and this was "tops"...the placement of the beverages in a large open gathering space and the placement of the food tables around the perimeter of the dining area was perfect. The food was beautifully presented, very tasty and bountiful...Good Job Johnson City Country Club!!!

I went to pick up an application. When I went in,I saw no one for a 3 minutes,until the lady who heard me,told me yes,they were hiring.I asked if they had any applications.She informed me they did.She found one,handed it to me.I asked when would be a good time to bring it back.She informed me,I could just take it.When I asked what would be a good time to bring it back ,I was told I could just bring it back later.When I asked what time would be best,she replied,"Just any time."It was before the restaurant was open. Beautiful country club! Came here for a wedding reception - and it's a good space for a small to medium sized wedding. I'm not sure if they were responsible for the catering, but if they were, it was absolutely wonderful.

Really nice old course. Really love the variety of trees out there. There's a good amount of elevation change and the great views made for a really great aesthetic. The greens were in great shape and the course was fair. I recommend it highly!
