In summary

Steele Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its picturesque setting, friendly staff, and family-friendly amenities like playgrounds and paddle boats. The course offers a fun and challenging experience with its tight layout and reasonable pricing. However, several visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the greens and occasional maintenance issues, which some feel detract from the overall experience.

Very nice 9 hole golf course. Played in the fall so there were tons of leaves. Absolutely beautiful views. Very well maintained. Golf carts are in amazing shape.

This place is so much fun! The splash pad, the playgrounds, the train, the paddle boats and so much more! I believe my kids and I have found a new favorite park to visit!

Absolutely beautiful place to take your family. Lots of things to do for adults and kids. Trains, paddle boats, nature center, picnic areas, splash pad, trails, fishing areas. An absolute MUST visit!

Was told by Scott running the desk that they ran out of golf balls to hit at the driving range. Seemed odd as I saw plenty of balls in the crate but was told they were for sale🤔

7/28/24 Played for the first time, Gentleman in the clubhouse (sorry didn't get his name) was absolutely as nice as anyone could be, very friendly and helpful! Is the course perfect? No it's not, but very fun to play for sure, some holes are fairly tight which makes it even more fun, better than just being wide open bomber hole after bomber hole. Will be playing again in the future.

Fun and challenging little 9 hole track. What it lacks in length it makes up for in tight windows, dog legs, narrow fairways, less than forgiving rough, and greens that require precision. The tee boxes, fairways and rough were all in pretty good shape. About a third of greens were in pretty rough shape, the rest had some bad spots, but not that bad overall. Considering the very reasonable price it is absolutely worth playing.

The shelter reserved bathrooms were out of order. Had to drive to golf house . Inconvenient.

Nice 9 hole. The greens can be a little beat up. The price for 18 with a cart is unbeatable. I would suggest they turn on the water fountains around the course and maybe add a restroom. Staff is very courteous. Sprinkler system on the tee box on hole 1 has caused it to become swampy. Only happened once to me in 3 years so I'm guessing it was an anomaly. Nice little course though.

If I could give zero stars I would. The price is high to play here considering the greens are in horrible shape, roughs are not cut evenly and if your ball rolls from the fairway to the rough you just lost a ball. This course used to be super nice, unfortunately now I would rate Scott County Park higher. For a state park you would think the course would be kept up better, see Warriors as an example. I won’t be playing here again anytime soon.
