In summary

Village Green Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, making it a welcoming place for beginners and those looking to improve their short game. The course is described as a fun, shorter layout with reasonable prices, though some visitors express concerns about the condition of the greens, tee boxes, and fairways, noting they could benefit from better maintenance. While the club offers a relaxed atmosphere, a few guests have experienced issues with reservations and course management.

Nice little course. For February, the course was in decent shape. The greens rolled pretty quick. Most of the greens were challenging with pin placements. I enjoyed it. Clubhouse was nice too.

Came here today around 8 am. The man working the front desk was very kind and talked us through the course. He even told us some stories about some golf courses he’s been to and worked at! We came in late November and the course was still in very decent conditions. The only thing I’d say they could improve on this time of year would be the greens. But by no means did I expect a perfect golf course on a wet November morning. We went and had a lot of fun, Definitely enjoyed and would recommend.

worst golf course over ever played, devices were straight sand, greens were like big fuzzy carpets, and the fairways were awful. never coming back. absolutely terrible. rental clubs were awful as well. pace of play was awful as well and lots of bugs everywhere.

Brand new golfers here and was very happy to enjoy this par 3 course. We were with an experienced golfer who said this was a great low key beginners course to start out on without the pressure. The staff was very kind and helpful! Thanks for a great day!

Village Green Golf club is our preferred executive course in our vicinity. Kind staff, scenic course. Although, the first nine holes are too near to houses, not recommended for beginners who can't control their balls. Not very difficult to master it, there are a few and not too irritating hazards. The club organizes fun tournaments.

It wasn’t what we expected. Basically a par 3 course with 3-4 par 4 holes. Tee boxes were all sand; absolutely zero grass. Greens and fairways weren’t in good shape at all. Great beginners course, but not for the golfer looking for a challenging course with par 4’s and par 5’s. We were done in under 2 hours and it cost us $43 each. We should have done more research.

Horrible Condition! It was close was the only good thing. I missed that it was a par 3. Arrived, went ahead and played. The guy working was great. This course could be very good with some maintenance to improve the conditions on the tee boxes. The fairways were rough, but shouldn't see many of those on on Par 3. Keep the tee boxes, greens and areas around the greens in better shape and this course would get better rankings.

I think I’d give the course 3.5 stars. First off, the staff is tremendous! Very polite and friendly. However the course does need a little work from an objective standpoint. The greens are solid, very hairy, but consistent. The tee boxes and fairways need a little TLC. The price is reasonable and very walkable. The holes are very tight together, especially on the front, so be careful to control your ball!

Played the Village Green golf course this past May 2021. Hadn't played golf in almost 20 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It's under new management . The new owners were very down to earth fun people .They shared their story of how they came to buy Village Green Golf course. They have been involved with golf for years before purchasing the course. They have great plans to upgrade the course as money starts to flow in. The pandemic was a set back for them but they survived the first year. I will be returning to play again in the near future. This course is fun and not too challenging. Gr…

The gentleman inside was very nice. The course condition did not match the reviews. The tee markers were primarily placed in sand with very little grass. On most of the holes, I had to move my tee ball outside of the marker. The greens were bumpy and difficult to putt on. This course was not not a pleasant experience for me.
