In summary

Ute Creek Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic location with views of the Rocky Mountains and its challenging layout, designed by Robert Trent Jones, which offers a mix of terrains suitable for golfers of varying skill levels. The staff is often described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a generally positive experience. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the course's maintenance, with reports of inconsistent greens and neglected fairways, as well as issues with dynamic pricing and slow pace of play.

Public course, pace of play was a factor, especially how beautiful it's been these was few weekends. The pro shop was kind and ready to assist upon arrival. We did have to get a new cart since they double booked the cart before we made it to the carts but was not problem, obviously took next in line. We just have to write our names down with cart numbers .the course was beautiful and we had a great time.

Terrible experience. Not only does their website say $57 for 18 holes and $20 for cart but when confronted about this they said they can't refund when they charged $120 per person with a quote of "dynamic pricing" which is not mentioned on the website. Not to mention hole 3 was in a temporary green and wasnt open. When confronting the staff they again claimed dynamic pricing. We then called to book a shame tee time the following weekend when golf now only had 1, 18 hole round and we're only quote $77 for the round, per their website. They ultimately wouldn't refund and only gave a 9 hole walki…

100 dollars to play a dead course in January. 85 to walk it. You should be ashamed. This place needs new owners and management. This course is always in bad shape slow pace with no Marshalls to push people. This has to be the worst course in the northern front range. Don't recommend playing this course. Unreasonably priced for what this place offers. Club house is in shambles and crammed into a tiny place as is. Practice facility is terrible. This place could be the only thing open I still wouldn't play it. Shame to live next to this crappy course.

Overall a fun time; Challenging but not over hard. Great condition for the dry front range. Pace of play and lack of water on the course was the only issue. Saw the ranger a few times but think they were over booked.

We had a beautiful time at the driving range and pitching a few balls. Very friendly staff. Great view of the Rocky Mountains

Both golf courses in this town use remote answering services that have no clue if the golf courses are actually open. Several times now the website will say they are open, the answering service will say they are open, and you show up and no one is there. Disgraceful.

Year after year, the course conditions continue to get worse. Rock in bunkers as big as golf balls and almost no sand. The course is always over-watered to the point it can't absorb any more water. It's always as if a hurricane blew through and dumped 10" of rain. The course Superintendent just doesn't care or understand how to care for a course.

Friendly staff, great practice area, and a great course, that is a true test of your game. I highly recommend Ute Creek

I like this course and play it often. Staff is great! Prices like most golf are too high and the golf cart situation everywhere needs to be reexamined. I like having my own cart unless i am playing with family or friends. Should not have to be paired up with strangers. One guy i was paired with had a horrible attitude and bitched the whole time. I was stuck with him for 4 hours. That was garbage and not fair to me.

Played at 7:40 on May 18 and made it around in 4hr 15min even with 3 of us walking! Pace of play was great and conditions were good. Greens were so FAST which made the round even more interesting. And the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend

It is late June 2025 and they just don't seem to care, still. The clubhouse people seem to be trying more, but the effort on the course is not great. They seem to do the bare minimum and nothing else. We played on Tuesday and had cups cut on Sunday, which affected play. Plenty of rain this year and the grass is still too sparse in too many areas. It is too bad since this course has one of the best designs and layouts in northern Colorado. Price is OK for a muni, but it is getting to where it needs to be cheaper if they are not going to try any harder. The staff is fine, but this is, again, th…

One of my favorite municipal courses across the country. Provides a great mix of challenging terrain while also being welcoming to newer golfers. The pro shop and course marshal’s are uncharacteristically friendly for a local track. Very walker friendly, but just a heads up that the full 18 is about a 6 mile loop. Pace of play can be anywhere between 3-4.5 hours.
