In summary

Timberlane Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, featuring a mix of challenging holes with mature trees, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. The staff, particularly in the pro shop and cafe, receive high marks for their helpfulness and service, and the amenities, including the driving range and practice areas, are appreciated. Some visitors note areas for improvement, such as the condition of the rough and occasional slow greens, but overall, the club offers a pleasant and enjoyable golfing experience near New Orleans.

This golf course offers a pleasant round just outside New Orleans with a nice mix of holes. The layout features mature trees, several water hazards, and some strategically placed bunkers that require thoughtful shot selection. The fairways and greens were in solid condition during our visit, and the greens rolled smoothly. The course has a classic parkland feel and stays interesting throughout the round. Overall a very enjoyable place to play golf in the area and definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a solid round of golf near New Orleans.

In town visiting and stop by to play this course with my wife. Chose it due to the proximity to New Orleans and the price. I was amazed by how well the course was maintained. Everything was green and filled in. The course was beautiful with a few unique and challenging holes. I will definitely come back on our next visit.

(D1 golfer at UNO) A solid semi private suburban neighborhood golf course! Tight off the tee, solid fairways and rough. Bunkers are good enough. Green complexes are nothing crazy but fun. Conditions of the greens are good. (Little slow but they roll true) Overall super fun golf course to go play totally recommend! Oh and I forgot to mention that they have actual top tracer cameras on the range how crazy is that????

It is not the best course, but it’s good for the price. Goldvantage membership is about $40 a month for unlimited range balls. Great place for beginner golfers

Outstanding experience! Came in to play a round of gold with my crew, greens were a little rough but that happens from time to time which didn't change how much fun we had. Morning pro shop staff was amazing and so helpful for it being our first time playing I think the young ladies name was Abbie most helpful and nicest young lady ever. Outside staff is on it and always on the move to help out anyone who is out there playing. The course overall is beautiful and easy to play and follow and was an amazing experience can't wait to come back and play again!

The golf course is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth my money. The service at Cafe Hope was exceptional and I enjoyed every bit of my time there. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The driving range and the chipping and putting green is great for practice. The course both fun and challenging at the same time and I will definitely be coming back regularly to play golf!

Played an early morning round on Saturday, May 20th 2023 with a bachelor group from Montgomery, AL. Course was in great shape for the time of year. What was even better is that I left my rangefinder on the cart I was using and did not realize until I got home. They found it and are mailing it back to me! Outstanding service! We will be back! Thanks again

I like this course. Good price, good greens , tight fairways, nice range and great staff. Everything an average golfer needs. I wish they were open on Mondays but not a big deal. Ever course needs a off day. If I had to be nit picky on what they can improve, I would say there fairways need a little attention. Not a deal breaker but every course could always improve in some areas. Keep up the great work Timberlane employees.

Awesome course if you're looking for a deal around NOLA. Both Richie (Golf Pro) and Lauren (Cafe Hope) were awesome and very accommodating! Highly suggest even if you don't play golf, the cafe is amazing!

Cozy , casual dining with reasonable prices. Great view of golf course. Never disappointed by variety or quality of food. Honestly better tomato gravy and meatballs than I make and I always thought I was a good cook. Open on some evening. Open Sat and Sunday for a wonderful buffet brunch
