The Mahoning Country Club

I attended a wonderful wedding here yesterday. It was beautifully decorated, the staff was present without being intrusive, the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Tricky timing with a chicken dinner buffet, as there was no EXACT time to serve, based on photos being taken, etc...but it was juicy, tasty and perfect. The details were met, I was there an hour early and it was all set up with no last minute craziness. WELL DONE! Highly recommended.

One of the nicest courses in Trumbull County, there is a definite need for cart path repairs and cart replacement, great course for a senior group with a fabulous kitchen and bar!

Played first time here 4/27/24 Broke 100 for the first time so that’s huge for me, greens were in great shape. Definitely looks like course has been getting some work done. Little pricey for the course high end of 35$ I think I was. Some cool elevation changes, and fun par 3’s. Def will check it out again once the rain stops and the rough is cut a bit more. Rock on

My husband and I had our reception there October 15th and it was AMAZING! Sue helped us so much throughout the entire process and she was so easy to work with. She truly knows what she is doing and made the hall look beautiful. The food was amazing and all of the guests loved the food and the way the hall looked! The best part about it is that their prices are so reasonable! Thank you so much to everyone there that helped make our reception the best!!

Mon. 12/12 . Our group was the only one in the dining room. The room has a beautiful fireplace, but non-working. It was quite chilly back there. The food was just ok, but the baked potatoes were not cooked long enough, so were hard. The waitress was very attentive to us. It is an advantage to be able to park close to the building now.

Was here for a wedding and the place is gorgeous. It's a little hard to get to, especially considering the recent construction on the highway. But outside is very pretty, and inside was very well organized and decorated. The service people were all very pleasant to interact with. Overall I would recommend this venue for other's events, weddings, receptions, etc. Just remember to give detailed directions, because cell phone GPS's led many people astray who weren't familiar with the area.

Decent course for the area. The clubhouse is new and looks very nice inside.

Wedding in red Room on a Friday in June. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very tasty and hot. Decorations from hall were beautiful. Very reasonable price. Very satisfied and would recommend consideration for your next event.

The friendliest staff and the best bar food. The golf course is also pretty cool.

I played here before and wanted to play again this year with my buddy. The course is nothing to write home about but with some cart path And green improvements the course could be really nice. The reason I’m leaving a one star is because of the starters and their lack of customer care. We had a late teatime at 6 PM and was told to leave on the ninth hole at 7:50 PM. I was very cut off guard by the starter as it doesn’t get dark until 9 PM due to being in the summer. Very upset with the personnel staff and not a course who is friendly to the bogey golfer however their course condition is geare…

The function we had was great. The building itself was horrific. The ceiling was leaking, the windows was nasty, and the bathrooms were cold and out dated. I can't wait until our church get our own venue.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food could use some work tho. The chicken was dry and the rice had no taste. Other than that a great environment and beautiful atmosphere.
