In summary

Wick Recreation Area is highly praised for its diverse amenities, including a splash pad, playgrounds, sports facilities, and scenic trails, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds and the variety of activities available for all ages. However, some concerns about cleanliness, particularly regarding trash and restroom conditions, and the need for better parental supervision have been noted.

The playground is one my favorites. Esp the mushroom nature one near sand box. The sandbox had dinosaur bones you can dig to... Heard they removed it but not sure if that is accurate. I thought that was an amazing hidden diamond so I hope they didn't remove them. And it was just refilled heavily with more sand. Splash pad there but not sure if a button to press or not. We were unable to get the water running last time we were there. Not sure if it has button like other parks or if certain times. Wish they had information signs clearly stating. They looked to have hockey place and volleyball c…

Refreshing! On our most recent trip to Ohio as part of our summer road trip (we are from PA) we chose to veer off to let the kids cool off. It was nice knowing that there was a splash pad available at this location. Not only was it a place to cool off, but also one to get absolutely drenched if you wanted to. The theme of the splash pad appeared to be a garden. There were flowers with sprays of water that came up out of them, and what looked to be tulips in the area that had buckets that would fill and dump when they were completely filled. There were also archways you could run through and…

One of my favorite places in the park. There's something to do for all ages- golf, batting cages, splash pad, volleyball courts, playgrounds and baseball/soccer fields. Sometimes there's even free music events at Morley Pavillion too

This is a really wonderful local park. There are batting cages, a kids park, a small water area for kids, soccer nets, ball fields, valley ball, etc...I love bringing my nieces and nephews to play. It's well kept. There are restrooms (though they are a little rough from time to time.). There's even a golf course within the area.

Amazing recreation facilities, fall here feels so beautiful. People at the golf station are very polite and helpful. Tennis courts could be better maintained I think. Sand volleyball courts in the summer get crowded sometime. Overall great place to hang out and have fun!

Beautiful day of course and my daughter's school golf team came there for practice. It was nice for them to actually get out on a course. They also had a nice playground for smaller children, tennis courts and baseball field and pitching machine for batting practice.

Woa! Outstanding park for kids all ages. Great design. Two big playgrounds with challenging rope climbing structures and a sand box. Shelters, restrooms, water fountains, three volleyball courts and a big diamond, some concessions in the summer. It also has an outdoor ice ring. Lot of parking spaces and benches. Something not to miss while traveling around during the spring, summer or fall.

This park is huge and I was there for the AFSP OOTD Community Walk. There were at least 3000+ people in attendance and the whole place gave an amazing vibe of healing and loving energy. The nature in this park is beautiful and unsurpassing. Thanks for letting us be a part of this.

Best kept secret in ytown. We love taking our boys to this park. Great playground, sandpits and splash pad. It’s so nice you look around to see where to pay to get in (joke - it’s a free park) Restrooms are nice and clean as well. We try to go weekly in the summer.

Kids love it here. Plenty for them to do. Thers also a toddler play area for the smaller ones. If it’s a hot day the splash pad is sure to cool you off. There’s also other activities here as well like golf hockey baseball. And the parking area is huge.
