Winter golf is great and creative.....the frozen tundra, the crazy bounces, and dumber luck than regular season. Love playing here

I will start out by saying that the course was in much better shape than the last time I played it several years ago. I also want to say that there was nothing they could do today about the wet conditions. Other than that, the day was a fiasco. After breezing through the front side, our group was in the fairway on number 10 when we came upon a foursome that was playing at the pace of tortoises. They had been nowhere in sight on the front side, so we figured they must have gone off number 10. They were fishing balls out of the water and having a good old time, while taking their time. While we…

Come here if you want a 6.5-7 hour round. Had a tee time at 11:42. At 11:46 there are still 2 groups in front of us on the tee box. Then the starter comes up and tells us that a group is going to pull around in front of us that was supposed to tee off at 11:34. Played every course in the area and the conditions here are bottom tier so it is definitely not worth waiting all day to hit every shot. On the bright side, if you want to get out of the house for the whole entire day sun up to sun down then come play here!

For the past four years my grandson has played for the Old Avalon Jr league. Along with that I had the privilege of mowing greens and fairways. Every year I am extremely impressed as to the continued condition of the course. I would be remiss if I didn’t also complement how professional the staff and management team, lead by Scott Karabin.

You can clearly see the new management is making every effort to bring this course back to its glory days. Greens are rolling true and once they get the fairways and tee boxes back it will be great. Club house has a mini pro shop and this is something this course hasn't had in a very long time. Great job by the new management! From my original post date the course has improved considerably! It's my go-to course when I want to play a quick round. With the addition of food for sale it makes for a great place to play!! I see this course continuing to improve year after year with the new manageme…

Had a great time playing this course, this was my first time and it was fun very forgiving and now being able to hit from the Sr. Tees greens are reachable again. Lol Will be back, thank you. oh yeah greens are a bit fast which is what I like.

The layout has a lot of character and the tee shot chutes remind me of harbour town. The greens had a few spots around the edges that were a little patchy but the center of the greens were rolling smooth. Fairways were a little rough, but it was worth the price. Loved the look of the par 5, 17th!

Course is fair. While playing golf today the person cutting the grass did not stop to allow us to play - he continued to cut around the green in a full circle and we had to play through. I have never experienced anything like it.

Great course for the money, back 9 is challenging, greens are in great shape. The staff is friendly and I will definitely keep coming back to play here. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

The course was really rough, the fairway has huge muddy spots on every hole. Some parts of the fairways were really bare. The carts moved really slow and the cart paths very bumpy and riddled with potholes. Overall it was fun but not super nice.

So i went here last year ... it was not a great course. The place is under new management and trying to make improvements i think because this experience was far better the cart path could use some help but the course itself was in great shape. If your up for a challenge this place will give you one for sure.
