Suggest you don’t pay any attention to the few negative reviews. Really impressed with the warm, welcoming and attentive attitude shared by every single staff member, from the host in the pro shop and the guys at the starter area, to the cart girl and the lovely woman in the kiosk at halfway. Course was well-maintained (greens were consistent and uniform) and the wildlife was well-behaved. A pleasure to play and would very highly recommend (But watch for the gators!)

Reasonable price for the area and time of year. Course is maintained well. Layout is challenging with water on every hole. GPS on carts. Drink cart service. Food available at the turn. Enjoyed a few beers and food afterwards on the back patio overlooking the course. Aqua driving range hitting off matts and no drivers allowed. Lots of wildlife including many gators in the ponds and birds everything from crows to eagles.

Course was in good shape, well maintained. Staff was great very courteous and helpful getting you out on time. My only pretty big negative was we were on schedule to have over a 6 hour round. Our tee time was Saturday at 11:30 so expected a 4 1/2 plus round but turned into a painful experience and quit after 15 holes. We saw a ranger several times but apparently not involved with speeding up play. As we skipped the last 3 holes we ended up passing a group with 5 golfers that had 2 holes empty ahead of them. Not sure I will go back.

This place is outstanding, one of my favorite golf courses in the area. Staff was amazing inside and out. The golf course was so fun. Greens were beautiful and rolled great. The price is crazy good. Can understand why everyone flocks there. Overall OUTSTANDING

Our family booked 2 tee times with 3 per group. At some point a decision was made to change us to a 4 and 2 group adding another 2. The course and owner had zero flexibility. Despite the owner saying it is stated when booking, IT IS NOT. It does state singles and 2 somes are subject to being paired up. Completely understand! When speaking to the owner he offered ZERO customer service. He approached with complete defensiveness and only wanted to point out all he’s done. We have golfed this course so many times. A successful business and owner needs better people skills. I caution ANYONE looking…

Great course for the price! I’ve played at many country clubs and was very pleased with the quality of service and conditions of this course! The owner & the grounds team put a lot of hard work into keeping the course and it shows! The cart staff are professional and do a good job! I’ll be back to play another round soon!

Greenfield Plantation is an absolute gem in Bradenton. From the moment you arrive, the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone is genuinely happy to be there and goes out of their way to make you feel appreciated. The course itself is in stellar condition and clearly very well maintained. I can’t tell you enough how great this course is. It’s possibly the BEST public course in the area. The price is right and the staff are fantastic. Pace of play is just right, and the greens are in great shape. Try it. Guarantee you’ll keep coming back.

Love the course! Greens roll great, and overall layout of the course makes for a really fun day out on the course. The staff are amazing inside and out, treating you with the upmost respect at all times. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Absolutely awful experience.This is the ugliest golf course i’ve ever seen it’s literally on the side of the road. First off they paired us with 2 strangers which made our entire experience so much worse And they have the audacity to charge the girls that aren’t playing. The staff is SO rude and i would never come back here again. Pay a little more money and go to a nicer course!!
