What People Say

In summary

The Golf Club at Heather Ridge is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, with a challenging layout that rewards precision. The staff is generally described as friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant receives positive remarks for its food and views. However, some visitors express frustration with the pace of play management and the restrictions on using woods at the driving range. Additionally, the proximity of housing to the course and certain staff interactions have been points of contention for some golfers.

From booking on GolfNow, to calling the pro shop for rental clubs, our experience surpassed some of the reviews for this course. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The rental clubs although beginner Tour Edge sets, allowed us to showcase our skills. Course was in great conditions and greens were fast. Definitely will be back and glad some of the previous reviews did not hinder our experience.

Coarse was in good condition. We finished our round in a little over 3 hours as a two some. We were behind a twosome of fresh beginners. And the Marshall at one point still told us to pick it up. I laughed it off and didn’t think of it much. But seams to be a theme here in reviews. The no woods or drivers at the range is a weird one, just install a back net like every other driving range ever. The coarse is on the shorter end so if you hit long Driver off deck isn’t always the move here.

Amazing shot makers course with challenging greens. Crew outdoors always keeps conditions in terrific shape. Pace of Play can vary depending on skill set since course is narrow and requires you to be accurate off the tee box.

I think the course was in excellent shape, the fairways are narrow and challenging and the greens are pretty challenging too. They kept pace of play even with tee times only 7 minutes apart. Price was responsible and was a great walking course.

This course was in immaculate condition. The greens were fast and rolling pure. The fairways were plush and the staff was totally amazing. It's not the longest course but it will definitely challenge you to keep your ball in advantageous spots. I was visiting from Atlanta and they totally accommodated me as a single golfer on the same day. I will definitely be playing this course again when I visit Colorado. The rudest pro shop employee I've ever met. I showed up 30 mins early for my 10:20 tee time on Wednesday, employee says there was a delay and we won't be out till 11, ok that's fine so we got the bar for a beer. At 10:30 I figured I'd warm up a bit so I bought a medium bucket, by the time I walked to the range and dumped the balls the guy called us up. As im picking the balls up he comes out yelling at us for not being on the 1st tee, like dude you told me 11 and if you knew we were gonna be called soon why did you sell me the bucket? It was my 1st time ever golfing in Colorado and honestly pr…

Nice course. It was one of the quicker rounds I've played at any course this year. Marshall came by 3 times telling us to pick it up. We were a group of 4 with 2 older gentleman that couldn't hit the ball too far. It was more disruptive than it was productive.

Only playing 9 holes and they say no riding carts after 3pm in October. Sundown isn’t for another 3.5 hours. They also don’t rent push carts. I didn’t bring my push cart because I was planning on riding. Definitely won’t be playing here again.

I booked a tee time for 2 late Thursday night for Friday at 11:15am through some god awful booking service in India that they use. My partner called me early the next morning and said he work up sick as a dog. I called the reservation line to see if I could change my reservation to the next day since they had several open tee times on Saturday. The reservation people said they couldn't change it and transferred me to the pro shop. The woman I spoke to said the "system" wouldn't let her change the reservation since it was under 24 hours. I explained to her that I made the reservation less than…

Not only is the restaurant delicious, but a view of the fairway and mountains is breathtaking! The greens are immaculate! You can see all the work they put in daily! The Marshals and wait staff are kind too! I do suggest some experience because the course in surrounded by townhomes. Give it a try!

Decent course as far as municipal courses go. The course and greens were in good shape. I wish it had a better range. It’s hard to warm up properly without being able to hit woods.

By far the worst pace of play I’ve ever seen. We are at 5 hours already and we have 2 holes left. The starter is clueless.. the greens are punched and sanded and you still have to pay full price. If I could give 0 stars I would.
