What People Say

In summary

Meadow Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, scenic views, and friendly, helpful staff. Many golfers appreciate the challenging layout and variety of holes, as well as the affordability of the course. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, inconsistent sand trap conditions, and occasional problems with customer service and course management.

Searched nearby courses on Golfnow, Memorial weekend easily booked an early morning tee time as a single, rented decent clubs and played with a friendly father, son, and another single. Course was in amazing condition, greens were hard and fast with elevation changes, but fun. The views were awesome, and we finished in less than 4 hours (second group out). The service was great, the carts were fresh and clean. I would highly recommend for a challenging round at a beautiful course.

Went over the weekend and I was in short appalled by the state of everything. The green fee is not worth with the course being trashed, a ground keeper threatened me to sue me after hitting into a bunker after he finished raking it, and called me many names that would get someone banned from a course, the owner didn't really care and did nothing to fix any issue. This course is only for the super rich that wanted to be treated like garbage.

Management of course needs to get it’s act together Played mid week and 1. Was double charged for tee time after pro shop couldn’t get card machine to work. Course never fixed problem 2. We took off 10 minutes late because 4 ahead of us late getting off 3. Ranger hounded our group to turn in 2 hours and 6 minutes I figured we were at worst 2 hours and 10 minutes on turn- When you factored in our late tee off. Need starter to make sure people go out on time 4. Course charges $71 for 18 holes with cart- most City of Denver charge $56 with cart mid week Not a great value

I think this is a great course, especially for the price. It was a great walk, equalling challenging to play with but not impossible to play. Staff was friendly and course was in great shape for mid-March.

Wonderful experience for a great price. Course is in great shape and has a healthy mix of holes between par 3’s, 4’s & 5’s with some challenges along the way. Overall course is on the more narrow side but nothing that couldn’t be managed with a nice easy shot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

A good course, in winter or summer. The staff was kind and helpful, from the pro (Cain) to the pro shop to grounds staff to the bartender. Just a bunch of people who love golf and love helping others to enjoy the game. Affordable rounds and well maintained course. Solid driving range, with tokens to fill buckets. Pro shop has anything you need, with clean bathrooms. Porta potties throughout the course. Fully stocked restaurant and bar. Monday and Wednesday are walking only.

One of my favorites in the area. I've only played the front nine but they were great! I got my first birdie tonight. Distance from first picture.

So far, my favorite course. Played yesterday, super fast greens, probably the fastest greens I've played on. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Some divots on the green from earlier players not fixing their divots. My only complaint, and seems to be the norm for public courses around Denver is the sand traps are packed sand. Really have to make sure you commit to powering through a shot out of the sand more than you would have to if the sand traps weren't so dense. Pace of play was good, only bunched up the last 3 holes or so. No drinks cart on the course the day I played, Thursday, not…

Some of the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered at a golf course. I was signed up for 18 holes, but when we made the turn after 9 and it started to lightly rain, an older staff member ran out and told us we’d have to wait it out. Despite the weather interruption, they refused to offer a 9-hole rain check or any kind of accommodation. The staff’s attitude throughout the experience was dismissive and unprofessional. Very disappointing.
