In summary

Springhill Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, affordable pricing, and accommodating staff, making it a favorable choice for both beginners and experienced golfers looking to practice their short game. The course layout is generally considered forgiving, although some visitors have noted issues with course etiquette and close proximity of fairways leading to potential safety concerns. While many enjoy the friendly atmosphere and quick pace on weekdays, there are criticisms regarding occasional rude staff interactions and overcrowding during peak times.

Good executive course. It's short but the greens are tricky. Some natural grass and waste areas, but the fairways and greens are in good condition. Most holes are pretty forgiving. Quick pace usually and pretty easy to get a tee time on the week days. Not much as far as food options but plenty of snacks and beers.

I’ve had only good experiences at this course. The people have always been friendly and helpful. The price is great and the course is always in good shape. I am an experienced golfer but still like the short game practice you get at an executive course. This is also a nice place to play if you’re a beginner - the holes aren’t too long and the greens are challenging but not ridiculously difficult. You can play a round fairly quickly during the week (I’ve actually never played on the weekend here so can’t comment on that). The “buy 5 beers get one free” deal is also nice! 😊

Great greens. Staff is nice. Generally a good course. - Only complaint is the fairways and people playing every which way. Need signage or establish some better etiquette over there. - We should not be playing with 3 groups on the same bit of fairway all shooting towards and around each other to get back onto their side . (This is 100% on the players. Just call it OB and drop off on YOUR fairway.) I've had people play my ball MULTIPLE times when the ball is on MY fairway and they're looking for theirs on a completely different hole because they shanked theirs. Frustrating, and dangerous.

Yes, it's a fairly short course, but it has its challenges. The conditions, even late in the season, are excellent; much better than a lot of other courses around this time of the year. The course will really help you work on your short game.

Terrible course. Horrible grass. Bad location.I was looking for golf balls and the course ranger came over me and my friends out cussed them out he was a complete jerk and was mean to a bunch of kids. The pro shop people have no manners and are super rude. Joe is an absolute G. Only reason to come back is for Joe. Beware the pro shop manager will yell at you for golfing. But say hi to Joe.

DO NOT BE MISLED BY THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS Every single time I play here (roughly once or twice a week) the course is in great shape considering what they charge for a tee time, staff is extremely helpful and accommodating within reason, and the locals here are great. This is not a place where gangs hang out (no idea how you could mix up a group of kids with a gang) and the staff is helpful WITHIN REASON. You will not have a problem here, and if you do, don’t be a snob. Talk to them like normal human beings and they will help you, I promise.

Nice beginner friendly course but watch out for errant shots. Greens are some of the best in the city cause nobody hits them. Can be a 5ish hour round though.

Great price for locals and excellent good greens and a great golf course for all players. Stay away from the ditch.

I have NEVER had a negative experience with the staff or with this golf course, with the exception of my longtime nemesis "the slice". The pro shop staff has ALWAYS been delightful and the people working the snack shop in front of #10 are very helpful and courteous. All that at an amazing price makes this one of my favorite courses to play in the area. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

If you are new to golf or want to work on your target golf, this course is amazing! First, greens are typically incredible, but especially considering it's an Aurora course and executive. Second it's cheap comparatively. Third, you're not going to run into a bunch of jerks. I'm typically the worst person out there. The place is absolutely great the pace of play is actually surprisingly decent given the lack of quality golfers and it's just a great course with a good time. I like just about everywhere else there's no houses around and there's good views. It's just such a wonderful place to go p…

This used to be a nice executive course. But they’ve let half the trees die without replacing them. They always seem to have a reason to close the range which faces directly into the sun in the morning.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to pay good money for the privilege of being stalked by a mall cop on a golf cart, this is the course for you. My fiancé and I showed up 10 minutes early (because, you know, normal human courtesy), only to be rushed out the door like we were late for a dentist appointment. Meanwhile, the group ahead of us was still picnicking on hole one, but apparently we were the problem. Within minutes, we had our very own staff “escort”, a man in a cart who seemed to believe his life’s mission was to breathe down our necks and make sure we were playing golf at th…
