The Elm Golf Club

Beautiful hidden gem of a golf course with some pretty amazing history! Donald Ross design built in 1921and the location where Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus played together for the first time in 1958.

We are not members, but were guests of our friends. Our meals were excellent!! Cudos to the chef!!Service was spot on, with a very good wine selection.

My daughter loves the pool! There is no lifeguard on duty, but the bar tender comes around to check on everyone and to get your orders. Their food menu is pretty good, and it comes out pretty quick, from my experience.

I visited for the OU IT scholarship gold tournament/fundraiser. The property was well maintained and the clubhouse was clean. Staff, particularly the Front of House Manager, was so kind and managed the area flawlessly considering the ebbs and flows of the crowds

My home course in the 1950s and 1960s. My parents were the club champs. Dow Finsterwald had won the 1958 PGA. Dow, 18 yo amateur Jack Nicklaus (who had destroyed every junior golf record by ten strokes or more—my older brothers used to always complain that no one else could win!), Arnold Palmer and Harold Saunders of Gallipolis played.
