Greens are in good shape, a few spots here and there but rolling good. The fairways aren't really defined. The tee boxes are rough. It's a nice layout and good value. Scores out of 10 Club house 5.8 Carts 6.1 Tee boxes 5.9 Fairways 5.5 Greens 6.8 Course Layout 6.9 Pace of play 7.4 Overall: 6.3 / 10

Played there yesterday. Needless to say I will never be going back. The man in the clubhouse was smelly and rude. The course design is ornery and spiritless. If you come to this course expecting a challenge then you best take haste and go to any other possible course. Roller dogs were to die for however I'd give those a 9.1/10. I personally love the added touch of the dead wasps underneath the heat mechanism.

Not a lot of frills at this older course. However, it was a cheap round - only $16 using the tee time pass on a weekday. The card and hole signage show 4 sets of tees. There are only 3 actual tees with no blue tees. The course itself was in fair condition. Tee boxes were ok with some broken tees from prior days since we were the first group out. The fairways were extremely hard with more than a few bare spots from the lack of rain and likely no watering. This was a big plus on drives with roll out, but on short shots into the green you had to clip the ball very cleanly. The real defense on t…

Some areas are almost unplayable, $20.00 green fees, no outside alcohol. I went out on the last Sunday in September. It started out okay, but the further we played, the worse it got. It looked as if they ran a min excavator up and down the fairways. There were 10ft x 4ft chunks of rolled up sod and bare dirt. It also rained on us the whole time (not the courses fault). On the bright side, the carts were pretty nice. There are so many more nicer places within 20 minutes. Save your $20.00.

Nice course, we had our lodge golf outing here. I heard John Daly was spotted there.

This is a golf course? I seen hay fields cut better.. this is by far the worst golf course I’ve ever played.. tee boxes? Fairways? Cut the same length.. lol the greens.. are even worse… Save your money and go to Castle Hills..

The city should be ashamed of what they've done to this course. You ruined some of the nicest greens in the area. Move pete to the clubhouse and hire a real greens keeper. The guy running the clubhouse knows nothing about golf andbhow to bring in more players...city council needs to wake up before they lose the course...

The course needs work, all related to one thing that's easy to fix, but costs money. Weed 'n feed / aeration / overseeding. The weeds, especially clovers, are all over the course. The grass is starving for food. Aeration and overseeding would fill in the starving areas, thicken the turf, and help prevent weeds. Then the course would be 4 or 5 stars. That's the only thing wrong with the course. The layout is nice. It is challenging but fair. As is, it's probably worth $29 with cart on weekends. It's too bad this can't be addressed as the municipality probably doesn't have the money to do so. I…

Fairways and rough are same length. Everything is dead. Fringes don’t exist. Only positive is there is good cups. Course blows. Don’t waste time or money. Go to delmar instead.

I played the back nine on 5/8/23. The course was in the worst shape I’ve ever seen. The grass in the tee boxes was higher than my tees. The fairways and the grass to the right and left of the fairways were in dire need of being mowed as well. I could go on and on; but, I think you get the picture. #StayAway!

There were a couple spots in need of work but for $32 for two people playing 18 with a cart I won’t complain, some interesting and challenging layouts that were fun for me as a beginner.

5 stars for value. Below $30 for 18 holes and a cart (i think it was $23), nice enough carts, and well maintained greens, fairways, and tee boxes. We'll definitely be back!
