In summary

Sunset Hill Golf Club is appreciated for its affordability and relaxed atmosphere, making it an attractive option for casual golfers and beginners. The 9-hole course is noted for its scenic, hilly layout and generally decent conditions, though some visitors find the greens and fairways could use more maintenance. While many enjoy the friendly staff and basic clubhouse amenities, there are recurring complaints about customer service and the condition of golf carts.

Overall a great experience for casual golfers. 9 holes for a relatively cheap rate, Wednesdays walking is only 20$. Grounds are pretty well kept and the long par 4's are pretty challenging. I highly recommend this place for any first timer who wants to give the game a try. Also you do not have to reserve a Tee time, you show up and you join the que.

A fun and relaxed place to play golf. This small 9-hole course has a long history in Brookfield. They have a friendly staff. The clubhouse has a range of amenities, including some golf equipment, tees, balls, snacks, water, soft drinks, and beer. Great place to get a quick game in.

If I was born in the year 2700 and had a Time Machine I would travel back in time to April 19, 2025, the day I played Sunset Hills. This course makes Augusta National look like the local miniature golf course. The undulation and immaculate fairways take your breath away without fail. If I had one critique for this golf course it’s that after playing, you might never want to play another course as long as you live. Anything else just won’t stack up. I hope this place continues operating for decades to come so my son’s son’s sons can enjoy the same experience. God bless America and god bless Sun…

Real basic 9 hole, needs a little love, but causual and easy. No traps and few hazards, flat greens and crisscrossing holes.

This is by far the worst golf course in the state of CT if not nation wide. To start, I was originally handed keys and was warned that my golf cart isn't working well and to keep it out of reverse, while there were 3 other carts that worked fine. Apparently me asking for a working cart was a problem with the lady there. That alone should tell you what this golf course is about. The tee box's are literally dirt, the course design is horrendously bad, you could get hit from any direction. Don't even mention the course condition, fairways are not level grass, dirt patches, and overall just low qu…

Cheap (comparatively) and easy. This is a simple 9 hole course that is actually in decent shape. The greens are pretty good, a bit fuzzy but no real problems. The tee boxes are decent but the hot weather is starting to show. The fairways are ok. Allot of blind shots, no bunkers, out-of-bounds along just about each hole. The course is short but it does have 2 or 3 holes where you can use a driver. Its a decent price for walking, I find the price for riding too high.

Horrible experience. Came in with my buddies and one of my buddies girlfriend. She wanted to play but didn’t have clubs, so she was expecting to use my buddy’s clubs. When we arrived the lady at the front was very rude to us and telling us that she couldn’t play because she didn’t have clubs. We were very respectful coming in and were prepared to be respectful to the course, however the lady who rung us out was clearly stereotyping us as troublemakers. Aside from the horrible staff, the course is also NOT WORTH $30 FOR 9. The greens are rough and the fairways look like a backyard that was just…

I do not know what that other guy is talking about. Never been there before today at a tournament. This is a nice little layout. I am almost certain the guy made a mistake and did not know the $32 was for 18 -- the 9 twice. The greens are better than decent and challenging to read. He must have hit the course on a day they had not cut them for some reason, decent speed today with a few people noting they were pretty slippery and again, challenging to read for a first time player. The fairways were acceptable even after a nasty dry spell with some burnt areas. They are challengingly narrow b…

You are either going uphill or downhill. This simple nine hole golf course meets the requirements for a nice golf course, but lacks some creature comforts. The layout is a little strange and you will find yourself crossing some fairways to get to tee boxes. The fairways tend to have a slope making them a little tricky to play, and the grass seems always slighter longer than desirable. The one thing you can not argue with is the price, even for 18 (twice around), it is a very fair price for a golf course which isn't really lacking.

This course is 9 holes of fun and enjoyment. Tee boxes and greens are amazing. Yes. 10 years ago I wouldn't step foot on this course.... but..... Krista has turned this place into a budget golfers paradise. Come down and give them a try!!!

Course is in horrible condition, and I’ve never seen a staff so strict on carts. There is literally a wall of shame with peoples IDs posted on a wall. They will do everything they can to get money out of you, and won’t let you play if you don’t have your own clubs. What about people who can’t afford a set and use their friends/ family members!!!???

Early spring sogginess aside, it was a great way to spend a few hours on a weekend afternoon. If you’re the type of golfer who laughs at his play regularly, this is your spot. No pressure golfing and a lot of laughs
