In summary

Sunnycrest Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, convenient location, and suitability for beginners and those looking to practice their short game. The course is generally well-maintained, though some visitors have encountered issues with dry conditions and occasional confusion navigating the layout. However, there are concerns about unpredictable opening hours and communication, which have frustrated some patrons.

Nice golf course. Only 6 bucks for two adults.

Great course if you can get on it. This and Burnet open WAY too late into the season. Burnet seems to be managed better. Multiple times I've shown up to sunnycrest and gates are locked with not even an answering machine or online update for warning. Why would I pay for a membership when hours and availability are so unpredictable?! There are better par three courses in Syracuse that actually post hours and answer a phone. Don't waste your time driving to e Syracuse for nothing.

Golf course was well maintained except the new bunker they have on the 3rd hole. 20 people having a picnic in the middle of the fairway. When asked to leave they just ignored the workers.

The city has really improved this course and they keep it in good shape. It’s perfect for beginners, seniors and working on your short game. Can’t beat the prices. A season’s membership which includes Burnet golf course, is by far, the best deal in town‼️

It's a Muni 3Par. Leave everything over 8i in the car...A great place for practicing your short iron, chipping & putting game. A decent little walk/work out too. Cheaper than a bucket of balls at any driving range I've ever visited. (No range here). Mostly sitting on & around one of Onondaga's famous hills, which feels to be mostly rock. Like Drumlins West course. Which is why people complain about how hard & fast those courses are...As far as the appearance of fairways, greens, traps, etc. it's fine. Some tee boxes are a lil beat up... Can be confusing to navigate for 1st timers @ a few holes…

Great place to take your kids to learn the game or work on your short game. Prices are really good; $11 for me and my son and that includes my pull cart rental. Course is short but a bit hilly in some areas.

Fun and delightful par 3 course. Grounds keeping has vastly improved over the last few years and the price is extremely reasonable!

Great value for price. Course is very dry though, ball bounces very very far.
