Sun River Golf Club is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained fairways, and beautiful scenery, making it a popular choice for group events and casual rounds. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment with the condition of the greens, inconsistent maintenance of tee boxes, and a pace of play that can be slow at times. Great golf course. From the moment you walk in at the club house, you feel welcome and know you will have an amazing day. Ivan checked us in, he was friendly, professional and competent. The course was great, fairways and greens well-kept. A great experience!

Honestly just not a great track. And for the price it’s a joke. $100 would be totally reasonable for a nice course but this is a $65 course truthfully. I’m honestly just bummed out at the conditions and the overall layout of it. And I’m not a snob about golf but if you’re gonna charge a premium price to play then it better be a premium course. Super disappointed. Well here’s a pic of us playing today. (Nice water feature) tbh I went to rate this a 2 star after playing but then realized how much I paid again and moved it down to a 1 star.

This is an average course for St.george. Here's why it gets 2 stars, and that's being generous. Slightly more expensive. Than other courses of the same caliber. There was no stand out hole. They all just kind of blend together. The greens were in terrible shape. Same with the fringes. The only thing in good shape were the fairways. 9/10 there. One bathroom on the course between 7 and 17. Bird crap all over those two holes. That concludes this review. There are better courses to play for the same price or lower.

Course was in overall good shape, minus the fringe area which was in poor condition for no obvious reason. The rest of the course was in great shape. The price was very reasonable considering it included a cart. The pace of play was very good and didn't see a single staff member or marshall the entire time. Views were excellent and the course was a good challenge.

Just wrapped up an annual guys trip yet again at Sun River. The staff and course are always great and accommodating. We have a group of 60+ for a 3 day tournament and Sun River has always been a great host. Can't go wrong with this course.

Many years ago when my parents first moved to Sunriver, I took my dad's golf cart after hours on the course and there was a cow on the golf cart path. I drove it back home to my dad who called the pro shop and we're told that happens all the time we'll go out and fix it. I drove the golf cart and back to see this gentleman using an umbrella to shoo the cow back onto the property where it was supposed to be. We got permission to take our dogs after hours out on the course and allow them to run around and we did it every night and it was a wonderful exercise for the dogs. We occasionally would r…

Course has potential but it’s missing the mark. I’d say about a 3rd of the tee boxes weren’t terrible and the rest looked like they hadn’t really been taken care of. Weeds and patchy spots make teeing off difficult and inconsistent. Lots of muddy wet spots through the fairways where balls commonly land. To me golf is golf so I enjoyed my time but I do think every course should at least have well maintained tee boxes and fairways that are consistent and dry.

Awesome place! We arrived as a bachelor party of 12 guys and they fit all of us in when we just got two tee times. We didn’t do it on purpose, we just had last minute arrivals and assumed 4 will sit out and stay at the range or go to top golf that’s nearby. The staff were dope! Favorite part is a cart that drives by at the right time to sell really affordable drinks.

These greens were not in good shape. They told us when we arrived from SLC that the greens were punched and they would understand if we left and didn’t want to play. How would we get another tee time on vacation during spring break? The greens were sanded with rocks. I couldn’t even use my putter because the rocks in the sand were so big. The greens were unplayable and the course told us that they would not be offering a deal for the greens being in such bad shape. Paying full price for these greens was absolutely terrible.

Had an early tee time for the back nine with my wife. Course was in good shape except grass in tee boxes was very long. (Strange). A single woman with her own cart (local) keep crawl up on us. Very rude. Maybe she we read this! We did 9 holes in 90 minutes. Spoil a nice round.

The course was in decent shape. Greens were slow but well kept. Staff were very friendly. Pace of play was poor. Took us 5 hours to play and never saw a ranger. Unacceptable to take that long to play.
