In summary

Stoughton Acres Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained layout and exceptional value, making it a favorite among many golfers despite its distance from Pittsburgh. The friendly and welcoming staff, along with the charming clubhouse filled with memorabilia, contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. However, a few visitors have experienced issues with staff interactions regarding pace of play, which detracted from their overall enjoyment.

This is hands down one of my new favorite courses! This spot is truly a hidden gem. One hour outside of Pittsburgh, this was so worth the drive. We paid $32 per player for 18 holes, a hot dog, a drink and a snack for their weekday fall special. What an unheard of deal! The course is well maintained and you can truly tell it is cared for. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a day of golf. Cash only and is a dry (no alcohol) course. I can’t wait to return!

Just an absolutely awesome experience here. Addressing the staff first, everyone I came in contact with is so extremely friendly and courteous. I tried to leave a dollar tip and the cashier said oh no thank you. You just don’t see that these days haha. I showed up a little late for my round today and it was no problem for them. We played 18 in under 4 hours with no one in front of us and no one on our butts. Now the course; the fact that this course is only 35 dollars to ride 18 on a Saturday is mindblowing. The layout is awesome and decently challenging, the perfectly manicured two tones fai…

Novice beginner here. I absolutely loved this course. Gorgeous and well maintained. Staff was super friendly, and I genuinely felt welcomed. Cannot beat their prices, 9 holes and a cart was only $17. Cash only so bring money.

Love this course, probably my favorite in Pa. Don't play it much, but when I do it's a treat. Played back in April and the course definitely humbled me. If you are not hitting your driver well you will most likely end up in trouble. I'm usually posting scores in the 80's....last time here I shot 111. So looking forward to playing this Sunday to do my best and lower that score quite a bit.

Played the course today and it was in great shape. The owner is extremely friendly and makes sure the course and the clubhouse are in excellent condition. The clubhouse is like a museum, lots of history in this place. The course is challenging and fun. The scenery is amazing and the price is unbelievably low. Probably one of the nicest public courses you will find, certainly at this price point.

A wonderful experience to say the least! Very comfortable environment, super friendly staff and owners. The course was well maintained, and fast/efficient pace of play! If I didn’t live a hour away I would come more often. I can’t say enough good things about this place. After we got done we spent time talking to the owners which were very nice and respectful people. I down home family owned golf course! Couldn’t ask for a better place to play!

Haven't played stoughton in probably 5 years. It was always a great deal, but also was a nice little challenging golf course. Played there yesterday, exactly the way I remembered it. Such an enjoyable day , congrats on continuing the atmosphere and making ys feel gery welcome. Will return soon!

Keep in mind that I never leave reviews.. I came here with my boyfriend and his parents, there were 4 of us. Two golfers & two riders. We finished the first 9 in two hours and then went on to the next 9. Then 2 holes later we have the ranger of the course in the staff cart following us for the next 7 holes, peaking through trees watching us and waiting at holes for us and then running off. The one time he was driving toward us and my boyfriend waved and smiled while the ranger looked at him and didn’t wave back while proceeding to fly by us full speed in his cart 2 feet from us. Really disappo…
