Hiland Golf Course

Mixed review on this place. First time playing here, arrived and discovered this is a cash only business. They have an ATM on site, but it’s one of these rinky dink setups so at first my bank wouldn’t authorize a withdrawal because it set off fraud alerts. Eventually got a text from my bank and was able to pull out money, but what a hassle. So what business in 2020 doesn’t have a credit card machine, they have a bar and restaurant in the place. This whole fiasco took about 10 minutes and put me in a bad mood for the first hole as we were rushed. I also had my son, who is a young junior golfer…

The rain this year has really helped the course. This is the closest GC to our family farm, so I consider this course my home course in western PA. I've always enjoyed playing Hiland. Not a long course but the greens are challenging. They do have a putting green but no driving range to warm up. Otherwise, it's a challenging neighborhood course with different elevations tee to green. Enjoy!

Why can't course just be honest..call for tee time nothing.. get there and told have to do back nine twice with no discount.. terrible conditions ..Never again .. being honest goes a long way

Excellant golf course. Very challenging. People who work there are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going there again . Reasonable rates. Best Fairway shot l have done to hole yet for a Birdie.

Golf course was in great shape. The tees were very green and plush but you need a hammer to but a tee in the ground. The greens were fast and true but were so hard the ball rolled off even if you put the ball a mile in the air. You had to play the ball short of the green and roll it on. It was worth the money. I scored well but was disappointed with the tees and greens.

Golf league every Tuesday late afternoon. The course is well maintained. Front 9 has a lot of hills to climb, food is typical bar food, but good. Good selection of beer, limited liquor selection. Always clean and friendly.

The golf course provided an exceptional experience. The course was in great condition and offered a higher level of difficulty than anticipated. The unique characteristics of the course make it a memorable and enjoyable experience. I intend to return to complete the remaining nine holes. The service provided by the staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient.

Nice course. First time playing there but I've driven past there several times. Fairly short in total distance which is one reason I wanted to play. The only thing is that they are cash only and the ATM inside has like a $4 fee or something which I didn't see stated anywhere or I would have brought cash but oh well....I'll probably go back and overall it's a good course that's fairly well kept.

This place is elite. We have already played 20+ local courses this year and this is our favorite. Great prices (especially on GolfNow) and a great environment. Course is in great shape and the bar/kitchen is fantastic. Food is great, good drink prices + selection and amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!

Great course, amazing price and surprisingly delicious prime rib sandwich! We found this course on the golf now app and ended up paying around 50 bucks for a round and golf with carts. Had no complaints about the course, especially for that price. Ordered a prime rib with horseradish and cheese at the turn and it was actually really good, the home made chips were top notch with that seasoning! Will definitely return to this course for another round ⛳🏌️
