In summary

Stoneybrook Golf Club receives high praise for its excellent course conditions, enjoyable layout, and friendly staff, with many noting significant improvements in recent months. The practice facilities and value for money are also highlighted as positives. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service, particularly regarding tee time cancellations, and there are occasional mentions of high pricing compared to other local courses. Overall, the club is seen as a well-maintained and challenging course that offers a good golfing experience.

I play here once every other week. It has improved a lot. The course is in good shape. Pricing is a little high, but not terrible. Some employees are definitely more friendly than others. But overall this is not a 2.6 rated course. Easily 4+. I think a lot of the reviews are based on that one video posted.

Just played here for the 2nd time, played my first a few days ago and came by for the range another day. All 3 times every interaction with an employee was delightful. Practice facility is well kept grass water range with a big chipping/putting green with a spot to practice bunker shots. Fun layout and course conditions are excellent. Reading the reviews it’s sounds like I played a different course than just 3 months ago. And only payed 40$ for a 7:50am weekday tee time. Definitely worth the money.

I'm surprised, I'd never been here before because the reviews are terrible, and I wasted all that time. Today I discovered the best golf course in Orlando. Simply wonderful. I believe people play at Stoneybrook West and review this one because the name is the same. Congratulations, what a course! I'll be back many times to play here!

Great course ! Tee boxes had thick grass, not sand like other courses. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were rolling true. Awesome value for the quality ! Friendly proshop staff. Will definitely be back ! The low reviews must have been for West Stoneybrook.

Challenging course. Water and woods on every hole. So as a player trying to break 100 I lost "a few" balls. Very nice condition. Currently much better than it's review rating. Holes were spread out and some tees seemed like a couple of minutes drive from the previous hole. I enjoyed how some holes seemed secluded but the course is in the middle of a neighborhood. No ball washers or trash cans at the tee boxes. Adding at least one every couple holes would be a nice touch. COURSE CONDITIONS: Tee boxes were fine. No problem finding a flat spot to tee off. Fairways were very good. Only one fairway…

I only wanted to leave a review because of the overall 2.6 on google. How that happened I have no idea. I am religious on checking google reviews before playing a round and everyone said in the past couple of months that this was a great course. They weren’t lying. 25 min from Orlando airport, value was astonishing compared to some of these courses charging $200+ for non-residents. Tee boxes, Fairways, Greens all in amazing shape. Genuinely hard to believe that the course was ever in bad shape. Keep up the good work guys!

This was a nice course that was in pretty good condition considering the drought of the last couple of months. The greens were firm, but receptive and putts ran true. I didn't have a bad lie anywhere. Sneaky water comes into play on a few holes. Electric carts were top notch and they had auto brakes. Clubhouse staff were friendly. I got around in less than two and a half hours. Not sure why there wasn't anyone there. It would be a shame if this course closed. I paid a little under $40 on a hot deal which made it desirable.

I really enjoyed playing this course. The new club house is open and the manager said the new bar is only a few weeks from opening as well. Book tee times with no hesitation. Great price, awesome driving range, and challenging course.

I have played this course a few times last couple of months. Definitely that best course in East Orlando in my opinion. They offer early tee times for people who like to play early. The fairways and greens are very smooth. They have four different tee boxes. Most courses I have been too in that past only have three. For a beginner like myself I feel this course is very suitable and forgiving.

Did not play the course as the management reacted poorly to us. We had two tee times, one for three ladies and one for three men. The day started out at 25 degrees and was forecasted to be low 40s at tee time. Ladies did not want to play in the cold. Called the pro shop and they refused to cancel the ladies tee time and wanted to charge us even though I'm sure they were in a frost delay. We ended up telling them to cancel both tee times since they were so uncooperative. Very poor customer service and I can see why there rating is so low. Won't ever play this course.

The previous reviews seem a little off from where the course is today. Just completed a round this morning and in my opinion this course is in pretty decent shape compared to a previous visit. Seems like new management is making a difference. 17 of the 18 greens are in fantastic shape. The one missing from that factor is not far from being tip top shape. The pricing seems steep, but it falls in line with all the surrounding courses. Main question is, "would you play this course again"? Answer, "without a doubt"!

Stoneybrook east is coming back to great shape. I played yesterday and tee boxes, fairways and greens are un good shape, very excited of having another great golf course in our neighborhood. Friendly staff, Robbie is doing a great job in keeping everything in good shape. New proshop, new bar ! Congratulations 👏👏👏
