Fairways Country Club

Had an unfortunate experience today, this is a course me and my friends frequent often. We had a 1:30 tee time and didn’t tee off until close to 2:00 due to a group in front of us playing slow. We even called the clubhouse prior to teeing off asking if we can start on hole 10 due to the people in-front of us and we knew it would slow down the play for everyone including us and the people behind us. We got to hole 4 at around 2:30 when one of the members of the group had to take a work call. We sat in the clubhouse for 25 minutes. After 21 years of having a home here, we were more than ready to turn in our boat storage keys and leave for the last time. Just two weeks after moving out, we received a call trying to collect rent, which made no sense given we were no longer residents. The level of disorganization is frustrating, and it’s no surprise homes here are constantly for sale and sit on the market for so long. It felt very clear that we were pushed out so the lot could be rented at a higher rate, rather than honoring the discounted rent tied to working in the park. Fairways Country Club in Orlando is such a hidden gem. The course is always in solid shape — greens roll true, fairways are well maintained, and the layout keeps things interesting without being overly punishing. It’s the kind of course where you can work on your game and still have a great time. The staff is friendly and the pace of play has always been reasonable when I’ve gone. It has a relaxed, neighborhood feel but still delivers a quality round. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for an enjoyable, well-kept course in the Orlando area. I’ll be back.

You cannot beat the price of this course. Lots of great wildlife, quiet beautiful views. Small shop, quick service, and had tons of reservations at the time we went. Carts are nice as well. Restrooms available throughout course.

Very basic course that winds through a manufactured home community. Greens were nice and fairways were decent. For the price, it’s a good value but probably more enjoyable for locals to play than someone who lives elsewhere in Orlando.

Gorgeous park. The lot rent is ridiculous though. I get it, your in Orlando but..it takes you 20 minutes to get out of the park onto hwy. 50. Like I said, beautiful with great amenities. At 900 to 1,300 a month, you're better off buying a house or move to the West of Disney where parks are Gorgeous also and 600 a month lot rent.

It’s a solid 3 star. There’s very little parking. The Pro Shop is not much of a Pro Shop, but the girl was nice. It’s an retiree course. I think… 5,100 from the tips. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were fine. Though you definitely knew you were not playing at the Ritz Carlton. And even though the course was not in stellar shape the greens were really fast. A definite plus. No boring holes either. There is no driving range, just a net to hit into. No spacing in Saturday’s and they do not care about pace of play so prepare for a 6 hour round for a 5000 yards course. Not worth it

Love Fairway Clubhouse. It's a great place for lunch to visit with friends and family. The menu has a wide variety of options and quite tasty. Their is no rush to leave which is very appealing. I love the view the dining room offers as well, It's absolutely beautiful ❤️

Great place for no frills golf. People at the clubhouse are friendly. Fairways and greens are great. Green fees are very reasonable. Beer prices are great. As a resident in the local area this is my go to spot for a fun round. In lieu of the COVID crisis they had these pull tabs to pull your ball out of the hole without touching the flag. Perfect. That was a concern before I played but it wasn’t an issue. Btw if you are a local they offer an advantage card for I think 10 bucks a year. It gives you an 18 hole round at around 15 bucks with cart from 1 pm to close for a year. What a deal for go…
