In summary

Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, particularly the Oaks and Cypress, which feature excellent greens and fairways. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the course layout is appreciated for its challenge and variety, some visitors note occasional issues with slow greens and the need for a cart due to the distance between holes. Overall, the club offers a great golfing experience with reasonable pricing and good amenities.

Had a good time from the start staff was very friendly and so were the cart attendance. They were the nicest people I ran into on the course, considering that several of the members that I ran into weren’t very friendly. The course for this time of year was in decent shape. All in all if you’re in the area, I would recommend playing it. The value for the price at this time of year is worth it.

What a great course for February golf. The conditions on the Oaks are amazing - fairways are pretty good but the greens are wonderful. They run fast and are fun to play. There are many pretty holes #12 is the signature. Pace of play was 4-1/2 hours for 4some on a Saturday. Staff are friendly and there is a driving range. Highly recommend and we will play again. Difficult to get tee times so book in advance.

My son Josiah, a Division One College sophomore Starter at Rhode Island University booked to play and train here. $7 for a small bucket of balls, good practice green and facility. Greens look manicured and rolled with false fronts and sides, makes for a challenge putting and GIR. Green keeper does excellent job, club house and locker rooms look meticulous. One of the few golf courses that I see in the States where residents travel I souped up golf carts. Driving in, there is a town commercial centre with much offerings. Challenging golf course where greens and tee boxes are far apart so use a…

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure to recognize Stonegate for being such great hosts to me and my group of friends. For context, last year I started up my own Ryder Cup style golf tournament for my group of friends (16 of us) with everyone traveling down to the Orlando area in late October for three rounds of golf over the course of a weekend. We ultimately booked a home in Kissimmee and were trying to find somewhere nearby that was nice, reasonably priced, and offered two different courses to play in one day. Thanks to a recommendation from a coworker, I took a shot on Sto…

Beautiful course! We played the Oaks course here at noon right after a 2” rainfall and the course was immaculate. It soaked up the water like a quality course should. Tee boxes and fairways were amazing. I cannot say enough about the greens. They were the best we played on all week. The ball rolled true on every putt. Not a hop or skip to be found. The green speed was fair but on the faster side. The clubhouse had great food at a reasonable price. All around fantastic place to play and eat.

Cypress course has a great layout and phenomenal greens. Course is a little rustic in late December but it’s very playable and enjoyable. Oaks course is another interesting and fun track. Can’t believe how reasonably priced these courses are and they are not crowded at all.

Played the Oaks Course today… not only was the course an absolute blast to play and soooooo well maintained, the staff at the clubhouse and cart area were fantastic!!! We had a perfect round thanks to the conditions. Keep up the good work and see you soon! P.S. my fish and chips at the Stonegate Grille afterwards was delicious!!!

I played the Cypress today. First, the staff was friendly and helpful. The cart is comfy, but there’s no GPS and they’re a little old. I didn’t use the practice facilities, but the range was all grass (+). The putting green did appear sad (pictured). From tee to green the course is in wonderful shape. The fairways were like carpet. There’s some spottiness, but nothing that really came into play. The bunkers were a little wet or packed, but our region has been inundated with rain almost every evening for the past 3-4 weeks. The greens are s-l-o-o-o-w… l would guess literally a 7-8. Can’t make t…
