Taking the time to give Steamboat Golf Club the 5star review they deserve! On summer vacation and my 9year old, who is an avid golfer, wanted to play while in Steamboat. I called the staff to ask about loaning junior clubs and a tee time 2 days prior to playing. They were more than accommodating on the phone and the day of tee time. Upon arrival, Jules in pro shop helped get us set up w loaner clubs, we purchased golf balls and they paired us up w 2 others. The course was great, very playable and in solid condition. Very walkable and beautiful. I highly recommend taking the time to visit them.…

I was looking for a decent, reasonably priced course that was good for an ordinary golfer. When I started my first round I thought I found exactly what I was looking for. However, as I progressed through the nine holes I realized that the course didn't even meet my low expectations. The cart paths were like a rural driveway that had never been maintained, covered with water-filled potholes and as rough as a mountain path. The tee boxes were not very flat and at times it was hard to find a small flat area to hit from. Parts of the course were like a swamp. Fortunately these areas were clearly m…

Great 9 hole executive course tucked on the west side of Steamboat. Well maintained and overall very playable layout. Good mixture of easy and challenging holes made for a very enjoyable time.

Lovely locals golf spot with incredible views, friendly employees and a challenging course. Affordable esp if you carry your bag. Some of the tee boxes are lumpy other than that it's awesome. lots of wildlife around

A wonderful, easy to walk 9 hole course. Played with some friends and enjoyed a well taken care of course as the leaves change.

DO NOT book a tee time at this establishment on a Wed. First...we were booked with a woman golfer that couldn't even introduce herself (and chose to go solo) and went at her own pace and her own tee time. Which kind of gives a three-some a bad name. Secondly...Allowed a Men's league to take over, even in a downpour. League money sent some Guy in a cage cart telling us to beat the rain! A tall golfer with golden balls and a club acted like he was the only one getting wet? The mouthy league jerk proceeded to yell at us-while we let 5 youngsters play through ahead of us that were hacking, despera…

If you can't hit your ball straight every time,ya might wanna think twice (or take extra balls). This being my first time here, I did a little figuring out the layout. The price was good though as compared to the other courses in Steamboat so I had a good time

Beautiful course with a view of Steamboats Mountain that you cannot get elsewhere. Narrow fairways with lots of trees and water hazards scattered across the course create a fun but challenging game. This is only a 9 hole course but it does offer 18 holes for a fraction of the price of other local courses. Overall a great value.

Course is fun. However the lawnmower guys were always right next to you and they are noisy. Never got away from them. For the cost, they need to better schedule their mowers. We were there 3 times in a week all at miday. They were always there during our 4 hours of play. This is mountain course and probably does not need the mowing they were giving it Would trade a little more of a peaceful game than grass height exactness.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this club. The man working front desk was extremely rude especially to a group of 5 renting carts. He also failed to keep our reservation and rented out all the carts leaving us to wait for another 30 minutes. They also refused to honor their deal and charged us an extra $35 because “he wouldn’t honor the price on the website” Needless to say we will be taking our business to Haymaker golf course. Which was significantly friendlier and overall a much better kept course.
